Finally finished the second half of Char’s Counterattack and all I have to say is that while the action was good, I really found the pacing of the movie weird, side characters dying with just a snap of a finger and Quess’s bitchiness as well as Hathaway’s bitch moment kind of spoiled the movie for me. It would’ve been better if it was made into a 2-3 movie series IMO.
Just finished marathoning Baccano! yesterday. That shit was great.

Hathaway ends up leading a small rebellion against the Federation after he vanishes for a few years, after he gets beat and is about to be put to death By Bright no less, Bright didn’t know that Hathaway survived the fight against Char and that it was Hathaway he was executing Quess’s ghost shows up and tell her how much he loved her nad how the rebellion was all for her and she tells him “Never really liked you much” and dissapears. Cold bloooded.

The only way I can stream without skipping and/or hitches is if I stream on a wired connection. On a wired connection, however, my PS3 doesn’t detect any media servers I have running. It’ll only detect over wireless, which is a no-no for streaming, considering the Redline file is on a POS laptop that’s on it’s last legs. Anything over a gig will skip every second or two.

Figures that Blood-C turns out to be one of the most disappointing shows of the season, and yet I keep watching to see if something interesting ever happens. I’ve been behind, so I just now watched episode five. Go figure that it looks like something interesting is actually going to happen in episode six… but episode six didn’t air last week. Sigh.
Now I’m left here waiting for episode six to come out.
At the very least, the show seems to be hinting at some sort of connection with Blood: The Last Vampire.

Blade is the last we’ll see of the Marvel-Madhouse adaptations. I don’t know how HoTD sold in terms of DVDs, but who knows if there’ll be another season.

I tend to be annoyed when a show has twins / siblings act that way, but as a couple the two of them were fucking glorious and absolutely brought a huge, dumb, fuckking (with TWO k’s) happy smile to my face.
The show was confusing once in a while when it would jump back and forth, but in the end it all fit.
Another case of my doubting a show after getting just a small taste of it, but that’s when I love being wrong.
Also Ennis needs to be sitting in my lap and cuddling like yesterday.
