I didn’t watch the anime adaption(nor do i plan to) so I can only imagine the extra fan service there is compared to the manga. “Cliche?” at this point in the industry gl trying to make material being 100% original.

By “serious” (Take whatever that means in a Harem comedy) i meant the moments when the protagonist is not portrayed in Chibi form (Which he is in 90% of the manga). In the manga you catch on by the art style choices if they are doing the gag shit(Chibi) or when things get noticeably darker(When he is portrayed in a more “traditional” caricature.)

If you don’t care about spoilers this is what i’m talking about when the manga gets “serious” which is completely different direction compared to the gag sit-com harem chapters with the excessive ecchi. I would not say I’m a “fan” of this particular series (no way its my top 50), but i read enough of this to know how the pacing usually goes

Yo, fuck those losers. I wanted more Kids/Slope episodes.

I ended up catching her in episode four. I also just noticed that she’s briefly in the OP as well. Don’t see her in the ED though. I lol’d when she started crying at the end.

Overall the episode was pretty funny. I was thoroughly entertained. Also, shoutouts to Ichiko’s fabulous bubz.

Agreed KIds/slope seemed rush on 2nd half and should have gotten more eps. Felt the same about ANgel Beats!

Cause it sold decently enough. If it doesn’t sell they don’t make more of it. Thats pretty much it outside of the other factors like how its marketed, the popularity of the source material, what other show are coming out in the same season, what studio is making the anime and what time it comes on. Also Kids on the Slope had only 7 volumes of manga and the anime caught up to it so theres no fucking way it was going to more than the 1 cour that it was.

Not all fanservice centered and harem shows sell well by the way. I think its about even really. Also Sora no Otoshimono had 2 seasons not 3.

Translator has schoolwork.

There needs to be a air soluble cure for autism, I fucking swear.

It’s called mustard gas.

Introduces the dog-god Momou and his love for being tortued as much as possible  He tries to infiltrate Sakura’s apartment by trying to be her pet but her fortune makes his task difficult. Eventually Sakura loses her box filled with Suwano’s letters and goes to find them in the garbage landfill. Momou then tries to help her after he feels that she is not as bad as Momiji told him. Buuut that feeling didn’t last for long as he transforms into his human self while he’s showering with Sakura. Probably the funniest bit in the whole episode

there has been an official announcement for a season 3 btw…

Re: The Hunt for Nadeshiko 4

I don’t know why she is crying about only appearing once this week because I spotted her twice during the episode, lol.

Sword Art Online! Thumbs up! Anything else remotely close to this?

accel world

When? The only time I saw her was the time she pointed herself out.

Probably the op.

Bouncing Ichiko, Obscured Nadeshiko

Don’t think that counts since it was a flashback of a previous episode. Nadeshiko has the right to be sad this episode.

Poor Nadeshiko. :frowning:

Looking back, the original Fullmetal Alchemist had a good amount of questionable moments in the series. I always found it awkward how the first episode goes establishes the law’s of alchemy on how its a science based on the laws of equivalent exchange, then moments later uses alchemy to do something impossible under the rules it just established. Like for instance the walking statues isn’t really explainable under the laws of alchemy.

And how about this,

How did his hand magically decipher Marcoh’s notes?

The music in the first is still amazing though. I wish they could have incorporated some of the old songs into brotherhood.

yo… FMA was GOAT… ain’t gotta explain shit.

Call gainax.

Once it reaches a certain point, fictional super science is basically no different from magic.

Call gainax what?
