I found her voice pretty grating in that series, but as time went on I found it more endearing. Like a retarded puppy that pees everywhere, the way it walks into walls headfirst and looks is good youtube fodder . I do enjoy the prepubescentness of her voice though. Its something nice and authentic for a little girl character.

The problem with dubs, they only have like, 3 voice actresses in the entire industry and they are all in their 40s. Its sickening to hear them try to be cute.

Just finished watching GaoGaiGar, that shit was exceptional. It had a very slow start but it was worth it. Hmm…Trying to figure out what else to watch atm.
The dialogue is so plain and shallow. You get a boring dull character and an annoying motor mouth… they contrast, but it’s also hella cliche. The eurobeat is cruddy as hell. Sure it gets you hyped, it got me hyped, but for the most part, each song sounds about the fucking same. [spoiler=Lastly,] Takumi almost always won by some stupid thing his opponent does IIRC… no legit failures from him other than blowing his engine, once.]
P.S. I also love cars so we’re on the same playing field here, so I’m not speaking from a different bias.

Mangahere is still going. Mangastream started the big 3 again but they delete the chapters after 24 hours and release only after someone else releases first.

Well, looks like AKB0048 is going to be the guilty pleasure of the season. Now, not like, “hey this show has obnoxiously cute girls, but funny dialogue and a entertaining premise make it worth watching”, but “Oh god, I’m watching some bizzaro-world, glorified toy commercial. I am killing art, culture and myself every moment i watch this” guilty. Its like a saccharine sweet version of metalocolypse…but with a paper thin plot, anime tropes and hearts everywhere…it might just be…too much. Even for me…I have honestly never felt so conflicted over an anime like this…part of me wants to like it, a lot, another part of me wants to kill everything. Just…create piles of corpses and burn them. It really is straddling the line between “so bad its good” and “so bad its a war crime”.
Can someone post a chronological order of all Detective Conan films as in where they fit in the episode order? Also is wikipedia the most up to date list of all the episodes currently out? Man 650+…crazy, hope it isn’t full of…filler like Naruto and Bleach X_x.
