After 4.5 years I managed to track down and watch all WMT titles from 1974 to 2009 (there was a break between mid-1997 and 2006) and read most of the books they are based on.
Now I do not need to watch anime again…
I tried watching WMT when it aired in 06, but the dude kept wrecking his car over and over again. Couldn’t take it after the first few times he did it, especially since the eps were comning out so slow then (like bi-monthly of two eps or something) lol

Accel World 4
I wasn’t expecing a love confession from Black Lotus to Haruyuki at all. It was kind of sad that she would essentially be killing herself to save that tub of lard. Fortunately, it looks like she’s going to survive, although I’m going to be pissed if she eventually wakes up with amnesia and doesn’t have any feelings for Haruyuki anymore. Like, so angry I’d punch a hole in the wall. I have a feeling it’s going to happen though.
The worst part about that fatty is he doesn’t even look like he belongs in the anime. While I did give them some credit for making a character that the average, overweight, self hating otaku could relate to, they ruined it by making him a chaste virgin, seriously, you’re going to act like a dream where you get to nail 2 hot chicks is a nightmare? Christ, everybody is hooked up to the internet, somebody like could and would go to the bathroom for llke, 3 minutes to jerk off some 20, 30 times a day.
Sengoku collection 4: finally, an episode with a bit of realism. So apparently, if major historical figures were transported to an alternate dimension with highly sophisticated technology, they would pretty much go and be idols and models and other wastes of time. Masamune finally did a little more realistic and ended up in jail (and not for anything cool like cutting a dude in half). Unfortunately they sent her to one of Japans minimum security prisons for impolite women. Then they had the audacity to act shocked when she broke out, like what, you didn’t ONCE consider the possibility that a window might get broken and the would just jump out? I thought the show would finally have a showdown between “main” characters…but they decided not to.
Moretsu Pirates: Well, the finally admitted it, pirates aren’t allowed to commit crimes. It really is “highschool girls in space” …I couldn’t help but laugh at “space university” which is the most prestigious university in the universe.
Edit: I knew when they put whats her face in a prince costume that they would be fake kidnapping Jenny…I didn’t expect them to play the prince and princess trope so “straight”

New Lupin show is GREAT! I love the animation style, it’s just great to watch. It’s cool Takeshi Koike decided to go with the Manga look for the show. It’s very striking in motion, I really like it.
