So, managed to watch the Hayate movie earlier.
Hayate the Combat Butler: Heaven is a Place on Earth

…It’s essentially a TV episode extended to 58 minutes. Also, they want to futher prove that Nagi is the chosen one by this, as well. Most of the cast didn’t really do much, especially Hinagiku and Ayumu (who faded into the background after suggesting the cast to take a trip to the countryside) and the only highlight of them is the trio of idiots, who were exceptionally funny this time around.
Gist of the story: Cast goes to the countryside. Ghost shows up. Hayate is interested in mysterious ghost. Chases after the ghost, with Nagi behind. They find a park. Both get separated. Ghost tries to separate both even further by offering Hayate a diamond to remove his debt. Both refuse to comply and Hayate proves his dedication to serving Nagi. Everyone wakes up and remembers nothing, while Hayate remembers the ghost being his grandmother whom actually cared for him. The End.
Otherwise, yeah…it’s pretty average.
One more thing: Awesome Wakamoto narration? Not in this movie. They even got Klaus to cameo, but not even one word was uttered by the man in the entire movie. GG, Manglobe.
