Watched one of the Mirai Nikki trailers now. Going to pick this up as well, looks very interesting. It certainly is getting busy now with all this stuff to watch, and I’ve also been marathoning through a couple old ones, and some that I didn’t have time to watch last quarter. Started watching Steins;Gate tonight, since I didn’t feel like starting in the middle and waited to download a batch. I’m at episode 10 so far, and all I can say is:

Whole load of surprises for the conclusion of this arc! We get not only the current running Love Plus parody, but they managed to throw in Ashita no Joe, Street Fighter (with Toujou as 'Sim and some random manager as Ryu

Outside of the parodies, there were other funny moments including Okita getting his S&M roles reversed and Gintoki with the power of love and a glowing crotch, transforms Pinko into a young looking tsundere. He’s not without his embarassment, though, since he ends up hindering himself being naked than helping everyone else.

Bakuman S2 Ep. 2 was kinda a slow start but hopefully they pick up with more of their manga serialization journey than that romance bs.

I finished my college homework by at least a day or two so I’m dedicating the time I have after classes tomorrow to watching all the new Fall 2011 anime that I plan to watch and see what the buzz is about such as Fate/Zero, P4, Guilty Crown, etc.
Also I’ve been catching up with the Reborn! manga lately and I’m up to chapter 302 so far. All I have to say is that while it does some typical obvious shit, like power ups, plot armor, convenient saves at the last second, etc. since it’s Shounen afterall, the one thing that has me still reading it is the fact how connected the arcs are due to small pieces of dialogue that have more foreshadowing than the reader thinks they have, assuming they’re not paying super close attention to everything. And you have to admit, the Vongolas make their suits look damn sexy. I’d definitely rate Reborn above Bleach at least IMO.

Executive meddling saves AnoHana from what could’ve been another run of the mill ecchi! It was more the Director (Tatsuyuki Nagai) and Character Desginer/Animation Director (Masayoshi Tanaka) rather than the execs really, but kudos to them for steering the show in the right direction.

Feels like it has a big influence from Geass. Hell, the first ep itself felt somewhat like Geass ep 1, except that Shu doesn’t get an evil eye, he gets a gigantic fucking sword to slice giant robots with. It felt kind of cliche, but I’ll keep watching.
Persona 4 OP is just oozing with style. Eps 2 was about his friend and so I assume I there should be another half dozen or so more episodes like this before it really gets into the meat of the show.
I can just pretty much substitute playing the game with the anime right? lol
