The Fall season might end up being the highest BD selling season in anime history. So many shows that are guaranteed to sell based on the popularity of their of source materials regardless of how good the show actually is.
You got:
**Fate/Zero **- Adaptation of the highly popular Type-Moon game made by the same producers who made the Kara no Kyoukai movies, which sold up the ass. I expect this show to easily ring in the highest sales of the Fall season.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai - The light novels are pretty popular and it since its being done by the same studio that animated Ore no Imouto, the highest selling anime of its season, this one should sell pretty well too.
Persona 4 the Animation - Adaptation of the Persona 4 PS2 game. A popular game in a popular series. Finally getting an anime. Easy sales there.
Mobile Suit Gundam AGE - Its Gundam. Fujoshi should hold up the sales by themselves.
**Shakugan no Shana III Final **- Its the last of the Shana series and I heard that its gonna follow the novels closer this time around. Im not too sure how popular the light novels are, but the anime is by J.C. Staff so it shold hold up well just like Index and
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon - Sunrise’s major project for the year. Its based on the novels that are well known for how thick the books are for each volume with one the volumes being over a thousand pages long, which a record length for a single volume of a series (the previous record was held by the same author). The fact that its by Sunrise and that they said some stuff about how they much work they put into the anime and that really want it to be good should be enough warrant some attention.
Working!! - The anime that became unexpectedly poplar during its run and was the only show of its season that could rival K-ON!! in volume sales. Its got a different director doing the show this time around. The manga actually wasnt that well known before the anime came out, but because of how well the first season did, it should do well again.
Theres also Ika Musume season two and Mirai Nikki but I kinda have them getting edged out from being selling too well because of everyone getting every other show.
So yeah this the most anticipated season in some years.

You know… it’s kind of funny that the big plot twist actually ended up very similar to a post a made around episode six or seven. I was hoping that the entire town was something sort of an illusion or something similar to keep Saya under control. Somehow my wish came true but it came so late into the series. It’s a damn shame the plot took eleven episodes to actually go somewhere. With one episode left, I’m interested to see how everything wraps up.
Hanasaku Iroha finale was good. Great way to end the series and I’m glad pretty much everything got wrapped up nicely.

I would’ve liked to see more of Ohana and Kou’s relationship other than just a few scenes together. I wanted to see a kiss or at least some hand holding. Would’ve been really cute. :([/details]
Too bad Iroha more or less had an identity crisis and didn’t really live up to its own potential. It started out rather well but lost its footing halfway and never really got it back.
Finished Baccano. Damn I shouldn’t have waited this long. It was tough to get into at first, but once everything started picking up, it got really good. Now I feel like rewatching the series to pick up on things I missed my first time through.
I told you Jin. I told you Bacanno! was awesome but you just wouldn’t listen XP.

It was mostly about Ohana in the begining and her discovering who she was, but then began to branch off to the other characters. That would have been fine but the other characters just weren’t anywhere near as interesting or worthwhile as Ohana was. Especially Enishi, they absolutely failed with him completely. It felt like they had to drop little bits of development with Ohana to make up for it instead of it being simply part of the story.
Has anyone downloaded the CoalGirls Madoka Magica Blu-Ray rips? I can’t seem to select subtitle tracks with MPC.
