Something I just saw last night then skipped over because the characters turned out to basically be lolis, and then I got reminded of another tankubon where the artist did the same thing, except with original characters. Extremely common with Touhou, but I see it pretty much everywhere.
Its fucking obnoxious because the shit is art. Making the tits bigger(or accurate with cover art!) doesn’t incur additional costs. And anyone that looks inside can immediately tell that they are getting scammed. And if someone is into lolis or whatever, then they’d ignore it because of the cover!
Sounds like those donjon artists are allergic to money or something.

On a more serious note, I’m not really sure what the purpose of Mahiru’s character is other than to cause a bunch of trouble. I mean, I like her as a character, but she doesn’t really serve much of a purpose being introduced this late into the story other than for superfluous reasons. Oh well.
With the show wrapping up in two more episodes, I’m interested in seeing how the show is going to conclude. Hopefully the ending doesn’t suck.[/details]

I read the manga, and it pretty much has a different ending than the anime. The anime has a happier ending, though I think the ending of the manga fit it better.
I need to go watch Redline. I’ve been wanting to but I had no internet for 2 weeks while I was moving in. Trying to get back into sad life.

But good choice! Yeah the starting episodes aren’t quite as funny as later on, because it establishes the cast, but eventually it does. And 224 episodes in, it’s still funny.

I just marathoned it, and honestly, I found it quite surprising how high and consistent the quality of the show stayed through 215 episodes.
Aria, by most improved do you mean least amount of clothes? I thought she looked kind of terrible in the face.
Hanekawa looks a lot more weirder with that expression she’s sporting now (though with her story, it’s kinda expected). Still, they all look good, generally.
Hanakawa’s glasses missing throws me off.
I do not like the new look for the Bake girls. Long hair is like a natural cape. Araragi catching Senjougahara would have less pop if she had short hair. Did he let slip that he likes short hair or something?
