You know what kinda irks me? How they spent like half the season trying to get away from the Alpha Line , and now suddenly, all that effort goes to waste when Future Okabe is like… “go BACK to the Alpha Line! Don’t worry, nothing you did in the Alpha line went to waste for this next operation!” What happens in the Beta line now that I think about it is pretty dumb. Why would he go as far as trying to stab her dad? All he had to do to prevent Kurisu from getting a screwdriver in her head, was kick the prof in the side. Terrible decision he made if you ask me…
[details=Spoiler]what happened in the beta line gave okabe determination to start the operation and is actually important to the operation itself
as for the stabbing part, well he had the knife in his hands, and he *was in distress…*[/details]
what an amazing series.
i also found how helpful it was rewatching the very first episode with this
Could this be the arc that’ll end this season? Who knows, but it’s good to see the team of Natsume, Tanuma and Taki working together again after an earlier episode this season. Essentially Tanuma gets possessed by a youkai whose mirror has been shattered; and which a shard has dropped into Natsume’s eye as well. Some other youkai are going to give both of them trouble it seems, especially that one with the hammer smashing mirrors all over the place.
Blood-C may be worth checking out for you, but keep in mind that the first several episodes are pretty god damn pointless. Real shit doesn’t start happening until episode six, and even then the plot is still moving relatively slow. The action scenes and animation are pretty good, but the show’s seemingly graphic violence gets censored with beams of white or black. Not sure how truly graphic the violence is until we see a BD/DVD version. Never saw the original Blood OVA, but it seems like they’re trying to loosely tie it in with Blood-C. For now I’d say it’s better than Blood+ simply because it’s shorter and actually has some pretty good action scenes.
if you didn’t expect okabe to do that you have the mind of an ant. or you aren’t used to time travel shenanigans.
also steins gate is basically the only legitimately good show in the past 2 seasons. maybe tiger and bunny also. sunrise tends to deliver. maybe longer than that. anime really blows dick right now but I still watch it because i have the mind of an ant.
is the new thundercats good? i cant watch it im too scared to ruin what i remember of thundercats.
Yea cuz Thundercats was a quality fuckin show. It really doesn’t say much for your taste in quality shows when your worried about ruining 80’s Thundercats.
The new one is good. The Premier episode was really really good and what followed has been pretty good over all. There’s some issues that could use ironing out but nothing outright bad. Pretty solid over all right now.
