Looks like that poor fucker’s sinking to me…
For one, that’s an ape not a monkey- monkeys have tails. Secondly, unlike chimpanzees, orangutans do not possess the dense musculature of its cousins; so they could go into water if they wanted… pretty sure most apes hate water in general though.
You’re correct on both points
For another, we don’t know how deep that water is. Primates are cool with chilling where they won’t drown.
Humans are mostly known as the “aquatic ape”. Doesn’t mean our cousins don’t enjoy a good soak. But chimps and gorillas try to avoid deep water, as they, sink like a rock.
@sex swim doesn’t = float. You can lie on your ass and you won’t drown, you’ll float. We have enough fat for that, for a chimp this is not the case. Muscle is way to dense and not enough fat, they sink like rocks. And as such, they avoid deep water if possible. That doesn’t mean they can’t cross a body of water, they just aren’t built for it. On the other hand, let’s see you hang from a tree with one arm making goofy faces for 6 hours straight, you can’t. Doesn’t mean you can’t do it for 30 seconds, but you aren’t really built for that sort of thing.
Donkey Kong Country always told me that apes can swim.
…and tie a Windsor knot too?
^ That’s a monkey bro.
nah, you dont say… of course its a monkey. Whats wrong witchu shadow?
We were discussing swimming apes, so that seemed fairly out of place. Many species of monkeys can swim and some, like Proboscis Monkeys love the water.
This post was just a shameless plug to mention proboscis monkeys. Gotta love that schnoz!
If I could keep a white wolf as a pet, I would. I should be on that list of animals who just don’t give a fuck

Like I said… what the hell is wrongwith you?
We were discussing Monkeys.
read post #60 again…
then your response, post #62…
Then I post the monkey swimming video then you say…
tut tut, trying to change the discussing to meet your criteria, not cool bro.
That Proboscis Monkeys reminds me of a KOF character, what an odd looking mofo.
lol I think you’re changing the criteria more than I, seeing as you originally posted an ape and called it a monkey.
Proboscis monkeys are too cool for school.
Looks like a really unfortunate old-school spaniard with that neck frill.
i wonder if the females love the big honkers
They do. The bigger the nose the more mates they get.
… then i posted a monkey and called it a monkey. Nice try:wink2:
that Proboscis monkey looks like Mr Karate from Art Of Fighting.
I think you’re talking to yourself now but you did post an ape and call it a monkey…
the argument ended a while ago and I won, like I always do:smokin:. enough with the excuses.
If I was talking to myself you wouldnt be posting here so often.
