With its sun-bleached skin, giant fangs and blond mohawk, could this strange creature that was found on a beach in San Diego really be the legendary chupacabra?

According to Josh Menard, who took the pictures, the animal is about 2ft long and ‘had the body shape of a pig - kind of a fat stomach, middle area. And the canines were just ridiculously large’

Mysterious deaths: 35 sheep were found dead in a Mexican town, and one man said a winged, fanged chupacabra is to blame

Cruel: With the help of expert trackers from local Inuit communities, hunters stalk their prey and dispatch the iconic animals with bullets from a high-powered rifle

The expensive price tag for the 10-day expedition across the polar ice pack in Canada includes the services of a taxidermist, who at the end of the hunt turns the trophy specimens into prized rugs for the “rookie” hunters’ living rooms.
‘The polar bear is the most extreme of natural enemies in North America,’ declares the Beijing-based I Love Hunting Club in its brochure.

I hope they get eaten.
Or just killed.

this is the dramatic moment beachgoers leapt into the sea to save around 30 dolphins from certain death.
The rescuers had been sunning themselves on the Rio de Janeiro coastline in Brazil when the dolphins appeared out of nowhere and suddenly beached en masse.
Initially stunned, the sunbathers soon realise the impending danger and race into the surf as the mammals let out piercing squeals of distress.

This chilled out chimp doesn’t give a monkey’s what anyone thinks as he soaks up the sunshine in a Chinese zoo.
Lying on the ground with his legs crossed and a hand behind his head, his pose shows just how similar humans are to our closest cousins in the animal kingdom.
Normally found in the forests of West and Central Africa, chimpanzees have been found to share about 94 per cent of their DNA with humans.

This monkey should be chilling in Africa, not lying on concrete floors in China.

Aren’t polar bears the only animal that actually prefers to eat human flesh?

They need to be counter-sniped by people with respect for endangered animals.

They’re probably going to eat him later. It’s China. You know how they get down. If it can’t speak, it’s what’s for dinner.

so… does that mean they’ll probably eat this guy, eventually?

50/50, at best.
