Hey i just wanted to tell everyone that im having a hori Tekken 5 top panel made by angel and he has been very good in keeping in contact with me about how the process is going on with making my panel. when i receive the panel ill be sure to post some pictures.

Hey, glad somebody is doing custom panels for the Q4. How smooth would you say the metal panel is - do you need plexi to play on it comfortably, or can you play directly on the metal? If you can, can you compare it to to HRAP 1-3 series in terms of feel? (Although those have a very thin layer of plastic on top of the metal)

Cham0mile - If I’m correct. I have successfully made panels for the T5 stick and the Hrap 3 stick. If any of those are the exact same as the Hrap 2 SA. Then I would confidently say Yes. I do offer panels and matching plexi for that stick.
Teyah - The metal is Very smooth. I sand down any scratches and buff them out. I also debur any sharp edges and with a final coat. I sand blast the panel to a smooth silver finish. Smooth as a marble top table. As for the feel. I’m not sure as to what you meant by that. Sorry. If touch is what you meant. I would say Very similar. My bare panels are very smooth. I have to make sure they are smooth so that if somebody wants to just place art on it with out a plexi for protection, then it will have to be as smooth as possible. Like the MC SE joysticks. Nobody makes plexis for them them so the metal will have to be smooth as possible. Hope this helps.
iAmDjFlip - I just received that stick case and will be offering that metal panel as well as a few goodies for that joystick after the Easter weekend. It’s so close, I can’t wait!
