I hate that fucking argument. Americans will do all of those jobs, every single fucking one of them, we just wont do it for fucking pennies on the dollar like the Mexicans will and so this argument comes up saying Americans wont do the work (horse shit) in order to justify having a workforce that will work for dog treats.
Thomas is absolutly correct.
Pay rates in America are so horribly imbalanced. Both at the top and bottom.
I didnât realize that being paid 20 an hour was penniesâŚ
Im beginning to suspect youâre trollingâŚCuz the only other explination is that you are fucking retarded.
Wait⌠you mean to tell me Americans pay people under the table to do work for them? This sounds pretty serious. The government should be arresting these people!
best movie ever!!!
at least in 2018
i like how trump stans responds to trumpâs dog whistle on his âbuy american, hire american, america firstâ, populist nonsense.
i guess the slogan doesnât apply when it comes to H-2B visas and trumpâs own businesses. trump has a long history of using mostly foreign workers at his properties because they claim, âthere are not enough Americans qualified and willing to fill the jobsâ. i guess so. apparently, out of 144 workers at two trump properties. they claimed they were only able to find and hire only one qualified american worker.
trump stans! why doesnât trump think you people arenât good enough to wash dishes or empty the trash on his properties?
or maybe not.
BTW, the study was examining the NCGA H-2A (low skilled, agricultural labor) guest worker program and under H-2A regulations. they have to pay the same wage to native citizens and non-native laborers alike which means farms canât benefit from paying lower wages to non-native migrant workers.
iâd like to see Sowell go out and pick some fruit or vegetables. i think a lot of people front on how hard they are willing to work especially at this type of back breaking, manual labor. i mean, coal mining paid well at one point time in history, but you do really want to walk around beneath all that rock breathing in coal dust?
Those are not incompatible opinions, so youâve added nothing to that discussion. Some immigrants are xenophobic: yes, thatâs clearly understood. International trade law is a complicated clusterfuck: also understood. Trump is not good at it and is fucking up our opportunities as a country.
Iâm unclear on ârespect the electionâ? You mean like Merrick Garland? How about respecting the rule of law? How about immigrants that we are so afraid of being less likely to commit crimes than members of the Trump administration? Respect The Election is some fascist bullshit: fuck off with that. We have laws for a reason, and itâs those and our nation that we should respect.
Maybe if we just loved Trump more he wouldnât be the embezzling nepotistic crony-capitalist anti-science anti-factual ignorant fascist fuck that he is. #impeachhillary
You need to put that into context to actually understand what Peppy means.
considering the context was a strawman argument to begin with? Doesnât really change much.
Are you asking me a question?
âŚa rhetorical one.
Oh, sorry.
Couldnât get comprehensible responses so I guess my job here is done.
Itâs amazing how Trump derangement syndrome led Dems to believe that they didnât need to beat Trump on substance and could just ad hominem themselves into the Presidency⌠But no no no, Iâm sure theyâve learnt their lesson and turning the boring traditionally low turn out mid term elections into a national referendum over whether to impeach Trump is definitely a good idea and will turn out well for them in November fist pump
Iâm not very smrt: care to explain the phrase to me? Are we talking about respecting the results of the election that Trump claims was contaminated by millions of illegal votes? And what does this phrase mean relative to any discussion here? How do we properly ârespect the electionâ? Whatâs the difference between that and following the rules of law?
I donât think youâre a moron, so I donât think we need to go through what is a fairly transparent discussion, but â if you want to frame this as something other than what it seems to be, please explain this to the rest of us ignorant chuckleheads.
just ad hominem themselves into the Presidency
I could swear that the Republicans did come out to clarify that their permanent Benghazi investigation was a key factor in making Hillary appear untrustable to voters. Letâs compare and contrast the Benghazi investigation to the Mueller investigation, shall we? Letâs compare and contrast Hillaryâs handling of her affair versus Trumpâs.
I do appreciate the recent frankness in discussions: Giulianiâs comments today seem pretty fucked up if surprisingly honest. But as was pointed out earlier, the reality distortion field built up years of people sucking down propaganda means that thereâs an almost untouchable unreachable base that the Republicans can work from. I agree that the midterms come down to whoâs going to vote. I think there are some magnificent pro-Republican strategies to work with, especially given Sinclair/Fox backing, so weâll see where things go: the midterm is an uphill battle given the particular seats open at this time. At least the ongoing election results do seem to indicate that people are willing to vote.
Most if not all of the mass shooters weâve had have been treated. Usually they were prescribed some type of medication due to a diagnosed mental health condition of some sort. I know these drugs help some people but I honestly feel meds are way over prescribed and can contribute to violent behavior, especially after prolonged use. I think thereâs a fair argument here and itâs not really talked about much.
There would need to be more research done to find a connection, but I donât see many politicians trying to find any real solutions if they are against more gun control. Most of the time itâs been finger pointing at things like violent media and video games (lol) or that thereâs no God in schools anymore (even more lol).
