Anyone notice how like ALL the Trumpers just went MIA(don’t blame switch to new platform)? That is because they have nothing positive to talk about, like nothing. They will show up after the “summit” acting like Trump is the Messiah but blame Obama or “fake news” when it was a ruse or lie and falls apart or fail to realize N. Korea is already locked and loaded if needed so no need to test run weapons.
I asked a guy today wearing a MAGA shirt what has Trump actually done to do just that. He said under 4% unemployment to which I showed him the graph of how Obama took over 10% to 4.2% in 8 years and Trump only went from 4.2 to 3.99999 and how it was projected it would happen. He didn’t know that and didn’t try and defend it oddly but was shocked. After that he had NOTHING. Sure it didn’t change his stance but shows how uniformed so many people are who live in the Faux bubble.

Surprised this thread isn’t more active with the US backing out of the Iran nuclear deal. I haven’t seen a single person say how this benefits the US at all. Most I’ve seen for it was dismissive hand waving saying nothing will happen, despite the US obviously throwing away any bargaining chips with Iran and worsening an already more than shaky relationship with the country.

Meanwhile out actual free press is being attacked by our own leader like EVERY dictator before him.

You guys realise that Russia and Iran are close allies right? Pretty sure weakening Hezbollah in Iraq and Syria by draining its life blood is not something that Russia is happy about.
This is just another chapter of the US not sticking to its word. Ill admit, I don’t know the specifics of the Iran Nuclear deal but it seems like we’re just giving money to a rogue country who’s going to do what it wants anyway because it has powerful allies. If it is what I think it is, it’s essentially the WW2 appeasement strategy all over again, and look at how well that worked.
That said, it benefits countries on the US shitlist like Iran and North Korea to have nukes because it’s a bargaining chip they know they have against us in what is already essentially a 9-1 matchup. Who are we to tell them to get out if the pool when we’ve been dunking mfs in the deep end for decades?
The TL;DR of the nuclear deal is that Iran can’t produce weapons grade uranium and everything is very heavily monitored. That is a very, very basic TL;DR of the deal but it was most certainly working, which is why the US leaving the deal made no sense at all. It seems like Iran is going to honor the deal anyways because the EU and other countries are still on board, meaning the US left for nothing and no longer has any bargaining chips.
