The dismantling of the EPA and State Department are particular disconcerting.
It happened in Florida too. The governor found a technicality to ban their state scientists from publicly using the words global warming and climate change. Fortunately at the time, the state level Republicans found it amusing, but quickly repealed the legislation.
Now though, these federal level Republicans are allowing a foreign entity to whittle away at our government, one agency at a time, and allowing an administration to at worst, break laws, and at best, be technically correct, yet unethical. But then again, that’s the modern GOP’s foundation, serve the rich donor class.
Fortunately, it seems 2018 may have relatively high voter turnout, but not as high as I’d like.
