That then makes the stomp-out the GOP took in NY much more important, since Demâs are in a position to have a back-up plan. Plus the House probably rightfully should be keeping the President in line to whatever extent possible. Calling the press the enemy of the people, for example, seems like something that should not be cool with any party.

Thereâs an argument to be made that the immigration system is catastrophically bad and in need of reform because itâs really hard to get people in and naturalized so they can contribute (even though a lot of them already pay taxes). But I donât see how the argument that this caravan is just a bunch of free-loaders looking for a handout is stooped in anything but rhetoric from known racists and white nationalists.

I would argue Jim Acosta IS bad at his job if heâs continually having this issue. They were looking for reasons to suspend his pass and he gave them what they wanted.
