You’re a hypocrite. You told me to take a week off for less.
I’m applying the same standards the respected and established media apply to radical right wingers.

I disagree, but whatever - I don’t find the argument interesting - everybody loves to think they’re absolutely in the right. I don’t. So, sure - I am a hypocrite and a left-handed cannibalistic leprechaun. I’m all the bad things you want to think about me. If you have some concern about my actions, PM me. As we’ve mentioned, this is the American Government thread. If you want to keep posting about not-the-American-government you can be permanently banned from this thread. I don’t care about your political leanings, I care about your inability to operate as a functional manchild.
Thread starts at ‘Are you seriously calling out the jews? LOL’. Sorry for following along and actually understanding what happened.
You’re being a tool. Thanks for playing.
For clarification, because true was confused, the personal attacks began there. Azure was notably not talking about true in any fashion.
You’re a Southpaw too?
daps
If somebody could explain to me how “I need to be a dick to other people” is a political leaning or somehow relevant to this thread, I’m all ears. The criticism received is that by telling people not to be a dick to other people needlessly that that is somehow building up an echo chamber. Is not being able to play well with others just a critical part of some political group? If people could just kinda barely hold it together through the election next week, that’d be tight.
y’all are here because you like fighting games. that means you’re good competitive people. respect each other: hate each other in creative fun ways at the very least.
Again, when people say “beliefs,” those beliefs are bigoted and factually inaccurate as a means of influencing hate. No one is getting deplatformed because they are talking about smaller government and lower taxes
I thought we were talking about posting online since you mentioned posts in what I was responding to before. The neo Nazi thing existed in a dark corner of the internet until SJW types started giving them all kinds of attention.
Truendymion wasnt right, but you handled the situation like a typical Twitter sperg Lord. Calm down and take your meds. The world is going to proceed on exactly the same path as it would have had you not shit on a fascist, so unless you’re actively doing things in the real world to make a change, you sperging out here accomplishes nothing.
I agree with you but when we’re talking about the difference between someone saying something negative about a particular group and someone actually threatening violence against a particular group, but they’re both treated as the same thing, what then? This generation sucks at knowing what the actual meanings to words are despite the fact that we have the fucking internet and the universe in our pockets to be able to look up anything we’d ever need to.
Unless you’re advocating prosecuting thought crime, it makes more sense to prosecute what people do rather than what they think. You may not like it, but it’s their brain and they have the right to think what they want despite your objections.
Well said. Escalating shit here doesn’t usually seem productive: it’s just pissing into the wind.
Who’s prosecuting? People are being told they can’t make bigoted shitposts on the internet one day and they act like the US will turn into Oceania the next. No one’s coming for heads, they just can’t spew hateful shit to an audience for free anymore.
Slippery slope argument. And it’s actually a good one, because figuring out where the line should be is fucking impossible. All you can really do is hope for the best. Same with your already abridged freedom of speech. There will need to be lines drawn in good faith and hopefully people can respect those as being the best available compromise.
We’re not talking about unkind words. We’re talking about incitement to harm.
Convincing other people that you are a serious threat to them (or that you’ve already done them great harm), such that they feel compelled to act against you for their own safety, is just violence by proxy.
I choose to draw the line at spouting antisemitic conspiracies and agreeing with ordering the US Military to the border to harm migrants and refugees.
Fucking Idaho
Calling people genocidal hate-crime advocates isn’t a typical e-insult.
Dude called me fucking Anti-Semite.
In real life, that would end badly for him, if he had the real life balls to say it in real life to me.
Of course he doesn’t, so that is moot, but still.
It was well past his being “not right”, and into the realm of slander, and you know it.
I don’t recommend saying the things you just said regardless of whether or not you think them. Think of this as the gentlest possible warning, as somebody hinting at violence means I need to give them a serious timeout because this is not the place. Or in contemporary terms: this is not Gab.
What was said went beyond insult, continued needlessly long, and was just ugly. true has been asked to grow up.
Let’s get back on topic.
Oh, I hear you.
