The Lions needed trick plays to beat the fucking GIANTS?! They got NOBODY on that defense, and they had to resort to trick plays? It’s gonna be one of THOSE seasons.
Bless Deshaun Watson for being a beast, a shame with all the injuries to the offensive line and secondary this year, it is all for nothing. We should be good enough to get the playoffs again but will get smoked as always unless we are going against a depleted team.

Today took a major toll on us as we lost Watt for the season!!
With him going and more injuries hitting the offensive line and secondary, getting to the playoffs would be a major achievement for Houston.

At his position with his injury history, I am not surprised at this point. I’m surprised he came back as well as he did from his back injury.
Also doesn’t help that the Texans brass keeps letting pieces on defense go adding to his strains.

Yeah, Houston really haven’t added much to the defensive side of things outside the linebacker position until recently. Hell the best defensive linemen after Watt are all street FAs or 5th round or lower draft picks. Luckily the defensive line is the most disciplined group on the team. But we will miss the extra attention Watt took allowing some of them to make plays.
So uh … Trent Williams had/has cancer.

That is what the whole thing was about apparently. It broke today when he had a press conference. I haven’t had time to listen to it all so I’m still a bit confused by all of it.
You and me both. As someone that has lost a parent to cancer, I can understand his distrust of the organization. If it’s true that he was told to get second opinion and never did, I don’t know what he was thinking. Players should always seek a second opinion. We only have to look at the Jets situation with Osemele as another example of this. Whether it be conflict of interest, or an honest mistake. Players shouldn’t put complete faith in team doctors.

That’s what I heard a before TC started that Trent was told to get a second opinion and never did.
If that is the case, its on him. NFL doctors aren’t dermatologist, if they told him to get another opinion he should have. Regardless, glad he’s okay. My old boss’ son just passed away at 30. Life is short man…
