Having Assist 1 gone doesn’t make that much a difference if you ask me, especially if you play cable like jermaine. Hell, I remember when Sham and Omar rocked at Putt Putt with no assist 2 button. They still beat people w/ cable.
I just find it amusing that you never complained about your stick when you were winning, but when you were down to JB 6-4, you whined about it and canceled it. Not only is that straight up pussy shit, it’s also very disrespectful to me. If the conditions were good enough to play me, they were good enough to play JB. I actually got pretty angry about that. And your excuses for not playing on other sticks (we had 3 other working DC sticks there, at least) were even worse. Don’t be such a wild child when you mash. If you accidentally reset, you lose. Plain and simple. You KNEW that you’re button didn’t work the ENTIRE time, and the ONLY time you complained was when you had gotten down 2 games to JB. That’s beyond weak.
For the record… Team Big Guys (Jugg/Sent/Colussus) went 6-3 against Jermaine’s assorted CABLE teams. Me picking various other teams I wasn’t really good at (BH, Cable, Magnus… etc) did me in.
