You can cancel a c/s.rh into a DP if you get VCed for some strange reason as well.

When I tested this, I could only cancel into the DP within the first few frames of the c.RH, and only if I input the DP command before the VC activated (before it froze the screen for the VC start-up). I also could only get this to work for Akuma.

Is this accurate, or am I missing something?

his crossup bushin juggle is madly =D

something strange happened to me today, i played as guy and I dizzy the com in the corner, i was going to finish him by s.FPxxlvl1 kick super combo, but I screwed the timing and made a s.FPxxrun instead, but to my surprise, when the s.FP connected, the com was dizzy again and then more birdies were on his head. :eek:

anyone witnessed it before?? how to trigeger this?

Ive just got a quick question…whats the correct distance for ryu’s shin shoryuken? I have always heard about it…just never knew how to do it(as you can tell i dont play this game much:) ).

spacing; Ryu vs Ryu:

  • c.SK, hadoken (not a 2 hit combo)
  • c.SK, c.FP
  • c.SP, c.FK
  • FP.shoryuken

and it helps to jump before the shinshoryuken :slight_smile:

It’s definitely an infinite dude… You’re building up enough meter to re-activate.

Although it does raise some questions for me… Is it different on console? Or am I a retard and simply can’t keep the j.MPs going that long because of my improper timing? Because it seems you have a much MUCH easier time keeping them up during the crouch cancels than I do… I can get a lot of them, but during these replays you’re getting mad height.

Any other console scrubs in here play rolento?? :slight_smile:

The cross-up bushin juggle is a trick (sorta).

If you juggle the opponent with a bushin chain (eg. they are in the air and being juggled BY the bushin chain), you can walk toward the corner and they will get up facing the wrong direction. Normal pokes, special moves, super moves, even VC activations will all go the wrong way and Guy will be standing right “behind” them. But only if the opponent does a move on reversal.

And then there’s moving behind them and then juggling them with the bushin chain…

Of corse, juggling them in the air with the bushin chain is a task in on itself, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes more like a rythm than a chore (check out my A-Guy replay in the kawaks replay thread).

Same with the CC j.MPs with Rolento. timing has to be pretty much dead on, or they will land early.

However, note how much damage that combo does before the CCs. Pretty respectable, IMO. So even if you screw up the CCs, you still get decent damage.

If you inflict multiple dizzy via OTG command throws during VC, are they accumulative and compound dizzy time making them harder to escape?

No.

It just looks cool.

On the other hand, it’s necessary for the opponent to be dizzy in order to even do certain multi-OTG VCs.

Like R.Mikas, for example; they can tech-flip out of it in between grabs (Paradise Holds) if they are not dizzy.

Karin, on the other hand, can do her multi-OTG VC reguardless of weather the opponent is dizzy or not.
