Nah. I keep hearing how porn companies are really hurting because of the web (with tube sites and all).
Itās just that thereās still enough support for some companies to make bank. Especially if youāve integrated new web features a little. Like all these sites having a youtube-esque flash player and Ipod downloading options now.

I actually bought a DVD a little while ago (PC went kablooey and took awhile to fix), and I think rentals plus places with video arcades/pay-per-view help the companies stay in the black a little. The store I went to was a bit of a hole in the wall, but it had to have had a least 1,000 titles (although I do live in the porn capital of the world). You figure the store bought all that stuff, so thatās money for the production companies, and the video stores can make money off rentals/sales. Dunno, if porn wants to stay solvent they gotta come up with some kinda iTunes/iPorn thing.

before the tubesites people were making huge amounts of cash from pornā¦making it and just Internet marketing it. Now making money off IM for porn is basically dead, and the porn sites are only making a fraction of what they used to make.

Not that crazy. Tube sites hit what most porn watchers want right on the head. Itās fast, people find the exact scene they want, and they donāt have to necessarily download the whole thing to skip through a scene (in most cases). All this on a consistent internet connection (unlike a bad torrent). It sucks to search for something you want if it wasnāt categorized right, but thatās a minor inconvenience compared to what you get in return.
If youāre asking about Brazzerās, then I would stay far away from it. It was the third site I subscribed to to get HD Porn, and by far the worst. Their selection is garbage compared to what I got off of ZTOD, and their videos have issues with them. About a third of the videos I downloaded from them had errors (and wouldnāt play in a lot of devices/players), and THEY CHARGE EXTRA FOR 1080p! Considering thatās the whole point of me joining the site, then thatās ridiculous. Not to mention, I havenāt got a single video of theirs to run on a PS3. I ended up deleting all the downloads. If you want to pay for porn, try ZTOD. They have a great selection, quality videos, and a nice interface. All their videos play on my PS3 and laptop perfectly.
