I had no idea how much work goes into it post production until I worked in a TV studio, but you’ll be paying an editor for hours while he does sound engineering work, color correction, video editing, etc… and that isn’t cheap. If you spring on your own system, a Final Cut workstation can easily break your wallet. Even more if you decide to go with an Avid setup. Lots of stuff to consider.
