lol, yeah it ended up going for like 120+ shipping. That’s SO much less than what it cost me to customize etc. but hey- I needed the money and that’s the nature of ebay. Kinda my fault, I tried a while back but set the reserve price too high, and I waited too long to relist it, so the hype over the sticks died down.
Somebody got a great price on it though, so at least thats good for them, haha.

I don’t think sticks are worth trying to sell for a profit. Once you factor in materials and shipping alone you’re barely making a profit, let alone factoring in your own labor time. Just my opinion, but as far as making money I think there are more profitable ways to spend your time, haha.

how much would one pay for a dual modded madcatz te stick via imp board?
i’m asking because i wanna see does it worth my time.
Like i said a few posts above, I don’t think stick reselling is a very profitable idea, but I guess what some people consider not much money, others consider a lot, so idk.
But I’d say only do it if you enjoy doing the work, and see that enjoyment as part of your payment, because in the end if you look at it as payment for labor (on top of materials etc), you aren’t making much for your time.
For people that enjoy modding, it might be more profitable to do something like bomberman, and just charge people to dual mod their sticks for them. That way they already paid for the stick and materials (no risk of making your money back or lost dollars on shipping parts etc) and you decide your price purely for your time. That way your customer base is larger too, because it consists of both people who already have and want sticks, as opposed to just people that are in the market for a new stick.
