Parents really take kids to bars now? I have been out of that scene for like 6 years now. It’s hard to imagine a bar with kids in it. It’s such a horrible place for them. The idea that people would actually feel entitled to bring their kids to a bar is mind blowing.
People these days think everything they do is so important. I’m guessing it comes from growing up with facebook and twitter. They friend hundreds or thousands of people on FB, and then they post status updates for normal, unimpressive things and get likes and comments. Everyone feels like a little celebrity after doing that enough, and it’s creating a bunch of narcissists.
(The new, better thread title reminded me of something darkly amusing that I learned while (still slowly) reading A General Theory of Love.)
At least two experiments in raising children in isolation, one in the 1200s with Frederick II and one in the 1940s with Rene Spitz reporting on institutional conditions for orphaned children, proved that raising children in isolation, even if you meet every other need, tends to kill them. So now the thread title is less about pedophilia and more about infanticide.
As a father of 3 Raz0r’s right (Even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in awhile). Parental entitlement is ridiculous. At the grocery store I make all 3 load up in the cart on days when I can’t leave them at home so they aren’t running the aisles, if we go to a movie we go on a empty week day matinee.
This is a side effect of feminism and single parent homes, “I get to drag my kids around like I’m a fucking teenager mentality”. No you don’t, you’re kids need to be in bed by 8 and be thankful for the two hours you have in the evening to play video games and jerk off in peace before you’re up at 6am.
Personal fulfillment and happiness are secondary to taking care of your shit.
You are a bum so you don’t travel or go to as many restaurants/bars as I do. It’s fucking annoying and I’m not the only one who feels that way. My favorite is some old lady a few years ago suing a 7-year-old for millions because she hit her with her bike and the old lady broke her hip.
the problem you should be pointing at is the parents
not the children
most people need a brain scan to see if they are fit to raise children.
but alot of the children that you are complaining about were probably made in the spur of the moment
by parents who probably would have difficulty getting out to raise them out of the urban areas
(So you would create a Cabbage Patch kid? …Please never breed.)
Anyway, you reminded me: Whatever happened with that semi-frivolous lawsuit against that 7 year-old? I say “semi-frivolous” because while I think she was perhaps justified in suing, suing for millions seems like way too much even with the cost of medical bills. Maybe I’m wrong there though.
Lol you dont know shit about me or what I deal with. I have to deal with kids at work, your stupid ass whining about them in a bar. Go home and drink alone like a proper drunk.
lol i’m impartial let someone else embarrass the parent which because most people are inherently assholes thats what they will do
but he wants the kid out in solitude and away from the city
more in likely the children and parents he is complaining about are ones who are pretty strapped in their financial situation and would have trouble moving them out of urbanized areas to more rural ones
we can also infer that the majority of parents that this guy are talking about from his scenarios are probably undisciplined…
well if they are then what do you expect the child to be.
