(Really? Actually, I can’t say that I’m surprised.)
OG Dragonball is still really good though. I swear to Hades, I’d say that it’s better than Dragon Ball Z still overall or, at least, far less stupid power-level-wise (ignoring Roshi blowing up the moon at one point).
Dragonball GT, on the other hand, pretty much sucked from the very beginning, so you’re missing anything by never watching that. Do yourself a favor and watch the former some time. [/contributing to how off-topic this page is compared to the mostly good last page]
Well time to change that. It’s really good, and the fight scenes will have you on the edge of your seat. None of that who can “IMA FIRIN NAH LAZAR” the best. But actual martial arts and…
I wish I knew how to make and post gifs. I’d make one with Tony Soprano when he looks at someone with absolute disgust and dissapointment. That’s what I feel towards you right now.
This is true. It is also true that I have changed how this works because it’s mostly horrible. It is also true that if you abuse the flags, you’ll get a warning. If we find that people abuse the WTF flag, it’s going to go away again.
You can tell when someone is a toonami dubscrub when they have watched all the episodes of dragon ball z 10 times each but never seen one episode of og dragon ball.
On the Cartoon Network in the U.S. there is a Saturday night block of dubbed anime, Basement dwelling otaku reeking of mountain dew, Doritos and ball sweat view this block of programming as a threat to the exclusiveness of their hobby. I imagine anime is banned in Australia, it’s Japanese cartoons. The Monarchy wouldn’t want you distracted from fighting off drop bears and giant venomous spiders.
And i f’in LOVE DBZ too! I find it highly inspirational.
Yet…i couldn’t care less if i never see an episode of Dragonball in my life. I guess it’s partly because everytime i see Dragonball mentioned, it’s always involving the humor and dumb crap like Bulma flashing Roshi.
If there are epic battles to be seen in Dragonball, nobody ever talks about them.
