Man I loved these back in the 90’s growing up. What’s the consensus on the new xmen stuff? They look a little too kid friendly so I haven’t bothered to watch them so far but I may give them a chance if they’re pretty good.
Wolvie & the X-Men I feel was better than the '93 X-Men, yes, all one season of it, lol.
The show was THAT good, and I’m livid there won’t be a season 2!
They were never as good as DC’s stuff, but the '90s Marvel cartoons were very worthy. I definitely like that the voice actors for Wolvie and Spidey were brought in for the Capcom games, because for anybody who saw those cartoons as kids (essentially the target audience for the games since then), they are THE voices for those characters.
90’s X-Men was really good. 90’s Spider-Man was good at the time. But looking back, I hated 90’s reuse of same animation and every episode having a flashback of Uncle Ben with the “great power comes great responsibility” quote. That got so annoying.
That Japanese intro to X-Men seems almost like a different show. Everything is so similar except small things. Beast’s shockwave, Gambit being able to slice through the demons/aliens, them FIGHTING demons/aliens, and Jubilee’s hadouken. Lastly, why is Cable in the intro when he’s not actually part of the team?

That’s cool. I’ve already got Season 2 and 3 of the X Men on DVD(they’re the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix saga) but it’ll be nice to see the rest again as well.
Barf! The animation quality is certainly nice, but like many japanese cartoons, shit is needlessly over the top and dramatic. No thanks.
U.S opening is perfect and balanced, really cool without over doing it.

U.S animation credits had about 4 versions. None of them were the japanese.
