I was actually planning to run tournaments at Cameron’s after WCW but due to certain conflicting schedules I can’t do it over the weekend and whatnot.
My only all free days are Mondays and Wednesdays. Unless you guys are free to attend tournaments on days like those I can figure something out. I could do some tournaments on Sundays after 4pm when I get off work, but that is iffy cause Sunday is usually my study/homework day.
Actually, next week on Sunday I don’t have any work. I might be able to set something up then, but nothing is set in stone, I’d have to check if I got any Exams or some other random school bs on Monday. I’ll get back to you guys asap when I get home.

i came super early to the james’ games tourney, and a few of the people there with me early thought that the tourney was going to be small because of the concurrent active gamers’ tourney running the same day. However the competition pool got really huge. I’m not saying that it’ll be the same with Cameron’s, but you never know.
Just need to make sure that you have the capability to run any sized tournament without too many hitches. I for one, am hoping that a good amount of socal top players will come to this tournament if this tourney will happen.
But yeah, we totally should get this thing to work out. I’m assuming the first few steps are to:
figure out who or what group of people will run this thing
figure out a date
ask Suzie and Steve if we can hold it
@Duy: I can go to a tourney on Sunday, but the problem is I haven’t been (and won’t be) able to play the past and this week (I’m in norcal, studying for GRE which i take the 27th), so I really prefer not to because I’ll be so out of practice lol.
Other than that, I’m willing to put aside most days for a special event, such as a sfIV tourney

Alright it seems like I am completely free on Sunday the 20th. I personally don’t want this to be a huge tournament so I might have to cap the tournament to a set number. Reason being is that this is the first tournament I have ever held in an arcade, we only have one SF4 setup, and the place is pretty freakin small.
Hopefully, I can confirm on a set time for you guys as soon as possible, because I still have to talk to Suzie about it. I also gotta let her know that we need Akuma on the 1st player side. Let me know what you guys think about this tournament setup.

I haven’t posted it up on the Tournament section yet because I still haven’t confirmed it with Suzie yet. I’m gonna head on there after work at around 4ish to talk to her about it if she’s there.
I might borrow my girlfriend’s camera to record the Loser’s Finals, Winner’s Finals, and Grand Finals and host it up on youtube for you guys. I’m definitely not going to sit on my ass their the whole time recording that’s for sure. 
@ gaoser: I definitely do not want anymore than 32 players. Which is more than likely not going to happen, but I just wanna have it as a precaution.
I’d really appreciate it though if the OG Cameron players and new Cameron players have a good showing at this tentative tourney because it will set good precedence for any future tourney and to spark a bit more of an interest and competition in this little arcade.
Anyways I’ll see you guys there at 4 today for some quick games.
Alright guys I just talked to Steve regarding the tournament. I asked if I can run it on Sunday the 20th but he said I can do it on the 21st which is a Monday. Yea, it’s an odd day for the tournament but it’s the best I can do. But I’m sure if you guys are totally into joining the tournament you guys will find a way around school/work/etc. I personally have to swap my work days to run the tourney. Hopefully, I can talk to Suzie and maybe plea for Sunday the 20th which I’m sure is a better day for everyone.
I’ll post it up on the tournament thread soon and drop you guys the link here to check out.
