If it’s Alex vs. Stun Gun Alex, BTW, s.strong beats Stun Gun clean. Sometimes, if you jab with Alex to counter Stun Gun, you end up getting the mid-hitting jab instead of the regular high jab.
So who has to Kara throw to win? I mean, which characters have to learn it to be competitive?

Id say alex needs his kara throw , considering its a really good one.
Alex and Chun are probably the most effective to their game, Ryu and Akuma a moderate amount too. Karas are important to Makoto a lot but for more than just throws.
I don’t get how your college buds are having trouble getting out of stungun, any SRK type move should get them out of it. My favourite stungun reversal is Hugo’s SAII.
lol because Only one person knows how to stop it, and hes my partner that I Usually go tourney hopping with. His dudley is pretty nasty but yeah… the rest jsut get “afraid” and lock up and dont know what to do… LOL…

There are combos for stun gun. Look harder.
Off of a successful Slash Elbow, MP Stun Gun is good (LP if it’s corner).
The word “guaranteed” kinda contradicts the whole premise of Stun Gun. If it were guaranteed, it wouldn’t be so high risk/high reward to use.
lol of course the slash elbow one, thats a given.
If you hit someone out of the air with an elbow you can cancel it into stun gun and it grabs them out of the air. And mp qcf :p: canceled into stun gun is another guranteed stun gun
I know the QCF+p -> Stun Gun is guaranteed. What I really meant was that I havent came across many " guaranteed" SAIII setups.
Yeah, they’re hard to come by. Stun gun don’t work against anyone with a shoryu or a dash like Makoto’s :lol:. I usually just do the elbow slash and mix it up between mp and lp stun gun’s depending on if I think they’re going to try and jump away or dash under. But that’s only against people who don’t got a srk
Edit: I found out that standing jabs beat out stun gun…wow that super really sucks 
Yup , everyone who plays alex should and better know that. I believe everyone on this alex forum knows that.
Standing jab works for everyone except Alex. Often times, if Stun Gun is close, you get close s.jab which is the mid-hitting one. In which case, use s.strong instead.

everything else is distance mix up and if the enemy times there anti-air incorrectly they will still get grabbed.
The only problem with using Flash Chop to get into SGH is that you can’t guarantee a MP/FP Flash Chop unless you’ve got them stunned or you parry with enough time to react with MP Flash (exception: MP Flash is guaranteed after all blocked Shoryus, IIRC)
SGH is just…bullshit. Not Genei-Jin or Hoyokusen bullshit. But if you really wanna use it, mazel tov.
