i dont think any of us are really into SSF4. its just the game to play atm since its so popular.

I think everyone is starting to get sick of it so will probably at least be switching between it and Tekken again. We might end up playing BB a bit when it comes out to console, most of us at least have a char we can play in it.

We have been doing LANs since 2006. This will be our 10th event we have hosted.
I’ve usually advertised us with Facebook, Craigslist, lanpartymap.com, lanaddicts, and a few other sites. I think I have put a ad or two up on gotfrag as well.

I will take your advise though & post this over in the Syracuse & Buffalo forums though as well. I put something up on the calendar but have to wait till it gets approved. I will try to check this thread as much as possible. But if you have questions / suggestions its better to post them on our forums on our site.

Syracuse is having a big tournament that weekend. So it may be a conflict of interest.

I’m curious though, what kind of turn outs do you get for Street Fighter. I pretty much know everyone in this area who would be mildly interested in that.

Didnt know about the Syracuse tournament until I came across this site today. Looks like they only do fighting games anyways. Our group has had our date picked for months & we have too many sponsors to consider moving it even if we wanted to.

Our LAN brings in 50-60 gamers. We do both PC & XBox 360. This will be our 1st SSFIV tournament we have ran. We did a old school Street Fighter 2 tournament before SFIV came out. Its hard to say how many were in the tournament since anyone that attends can enter every tournament. I want to say about 20 played though. Maybe more.
