Yes! Doom was brought back with his Marvel Super Heroes theme! Next year’s EVO is going to be too hype. Marvel 3, Blazblue CS, Updated SSFIV. possibly both Namco vs. Capcom games, maybe a new Tekken, they just announced Arcana 3 for consoles.

Feels good to be a fighting game fan again. We haven’t seen a boom like this for 10 years. Fuck your FPS.

Yeah im really hype for AH3. Hoping I can get someone to let me crash at their place in NYC for sessions while I’m at school. I think I might like KOF13 too if it actually gets picked up in America.

I don’t think I’ll like MVC3 but I think I’ll enjoy it much more than SF4. So ya things are looking better for me.

Also anyone showing up around 5~ today? I kind of want to leave b4 rush hour traffic or i guess after it if people arent gonna show up till a bit later.

and don’t hate on FPS :P, cept for console they can go die. PC FPS has been struggling for awhile now :(, no good games in forever. prolly why im here now lol.

Heya Capital Region Warriors!

More “new blood” here. I’m a 4+ year lurker to SRK, and have been playing SF since 1991 (I’m 29 years young). I mainly play Marvel and SF games, I gave up on Tekken at Tekken 3. I enjoy all fighting games.

I’m no pro and don’t claim to be. I hover between 1300-1500 PP in SSF4. Would love to get better, but I’m a competitive casual at best.

I won’t be available for games for a couple weeks yet (teaching summer school and weddings) but would love to jump in on some local games when I get back home.

I know the Wok Inn is the meeting place ya’ll use. Are you guys on PS3 primarily? I’ve only got a stick for 360 currently, but am looking to dual mod mine sometime next month.

I’m right in Colonie near the mall. Hopefully meet some of you guys next month.

We meet at China Wok on weds usually and at ppls houses sometimes once you get to know everyone. Every place shouldn’t be a bad drive for you, you’re much closer than I am from everyone.

We also might be meeting at a store in Starz plaza soon which is really close for you.

Honestly if you 3 guys become regulars we might have enough people to have legit ranbats. Thats like 13-15 ppl if im counting right + randoms might show up to actual mini tourneys.

lol, I kept planning on meeting up with you guys, but always got preoccupied. Plus I saw all of ya were really into SSF4, which I sucked at, but I’ve been training up with some online friends so I’ve been reconsidering my like for the game. Idk if you guys are into BBCS, but I plan on getting into that now too.

So quick question, are any of you planning on going to the T6/SSF4/BBCS tourny in syracuse on 9/11 and 9/12? I skipped the last one there to train more in tekken. I plan on going and trying for tekken, probably just repping makoto and losing early in SSF4, and maybe just watch BB, idk.

Some day I may show up when you guys are at the wok if everyone is still open for new guys, which I’m seeing a lot of right now in here. I don’t plan on just being some random at any houses since you don’t know me obviously. I’d like to see how I could compete, and maybe even see how some actual good SF players play.
