Akuma Strats. He's legal now!

How are Akuma’s normal fireballs in terms of start-up when compared to Ryu and Ken’s?

I don’t know if it’s because my timing and execution is off, but Akuma’s normal fireball seems to take a tad bit longer to come out on start-up than Ryu and Ken’s

yeah i need to learn some combos but im just not too fimiliar with theses terms… juggling, the moves, chip damage etc.

wow you gotta tell me how to do sum of those combos, not the supers.

…after working on this thing for at least a month, I think I may finally have a finished FAQ. But, I need your help in checking my work.

Check out these combos. I know some of them may not be all that practical, but what I really need to know is whether or not they work. Use the following key as you read.

, = Link Combo

  • = Chain Combo or Rapid-Fire Chain
    XX = 2-in-1 or Special/Super Move Cancellation
    NE = Negative Edge
    MP = Motion Partitioning
    CP = Charge Partitioning
    KC = Kara (Empty) Cancellation
    RC = Renda (Rapid-Fire Chain) Cancellation
    SC = Super Combo
    TT = Tick Throw
    @ = Dizzy Combo
    R@ = Re-dizzy Combo
    ToD = Touch of Death Combo

Basic Combos:

  1. Crouch fierce XX Fierce Gou Hadouken
  2. Crouch forward XX Roundhouse Hurricane Kick
  3. Crouch strong, crouch roundhouse

Intermediate Combos:
4. Close fierce XX Fierce Gou Shoryuken
5. Close fierce XX Fierce Shakunetsu Hadouken
6. Jump roundhouse, crouch forward XX Fierce Gou Hadouken
7. Jump fierce, crouch fierce XX Roundhouse Hurricane Kick
8. Fierce Zankuu Hadouken, close fierce XX Fierce Shakunetsu Hadouken

Advanced Combos:
9. Jump roundhouse, crouch forward XX Short Hurricane Kick, Fierce Gou Shoryuken
10. Jump fierce XX Fierce Zankuu Hadouken, crouch forward XX Short Hurricane Kick, Fierce Gou Shoryuken
11. Jab Zankuu Hadouken, jump fierce XX Fierce Zankuu Hadouken, crouch forward XX Short Hurricane Kick, Fierce Gou Shoryuken (from one jump away, outside of corner)

Note: These combos are for Vanilla ST, but I’m certain some also apply to HDR. Let me know if they work for Vanilla or HDR. I’ll add Raging Demon setups to the HDR version of my FAQ.
