Btw I got a question regarding the Gief MU. I’m a pretty bad zoner and I tend to get cornered pretty quickly. How can I escape the corner without eating a Lariat? Or rather how can I avoid getting cornered in the first place?
Akuma can do a super jump tatsu out the corner similar to his in ssf4. You can also do a well timed jump forward ex fireball to beat his lariat and get a free combo. If hes real close you can do normal xx heavy demon flip palm then teleport when you land if you desire to jump over him and get out the corner. All these methods can get punished so mix it up. Best to not get cornered period.
Thanks a lot OZleon. Just a while ago I happened to run into that Gief player again…I did a lot better and probably got a rage quit when I was about to win
