Um… I would remain pretty defensive in the corner with random teleportation. One wrong parry attempt and ouch… I get close to Kens using air fireballs… but then again… your probably shouldnt stay close for too long… very very few demon flips… lots of kara grabs… he beats akuma on the ground and his ex hurricane is great for shooting down akuma… so basically you have to be very careful… bad match up… stuff Jida said was good
Also, try to do as much damage as possible with every opening you get (Bnb off of crouching fierce, cl. fierce xx SA1, etc.). It only takes a few mistakes for Ken to mop the floor with you so you might as well make it the same way (to an extent) for him.
Actually, against ken u’r main goal is to no let him corner you. Despite his teleport a SA3 can be coming if seen correctly. demon fliping out of a corner can also be pretty useful if u’r damn sure he wont go for a shoryuken.
Indeed, the timing on catching you with a super is kind of tight. If it’s a little bit off, Ken will super through you, your teleport will be cancelled, and you’ll be standing behind him with him in the corner, ready to punish him.
c.hp is an amazing low parry setup, it has a very fast recovery and it hits all the way from bottom to up… very useful when pressuring the opponent in the corner
Fast recovery? I never really felt that way about it. It always seemed like combo bait whenever it got blocked. A standing close fierce is almost as good.
I’m pretty sure it works on Hugo (in fact, you can do three cr. lp’s and confirm into SA1 at point blank range. I THINK it works on Twelve, although it’s kinda tough and pointless.
