Oh man, look at that 2 player AWSD panel…it’s honestly the first time I’ve ever seen one…

~Paik

Ya, I’ll prolly never see one in person, let alone see one for sale.

Would be nice though. If I ever need a 2p AWSD cp, I’ll prolly try to grab an Egret 3 instead. Even that’s kinda pricey. I can fabricate my own 2p CP at work for free (tool & die).

Anyhow, what I really want is that plastic marquee holder. I’d rather have the real deal than a home-made repro.

Hi Per. I’m thinking about ordering some parts for your next order, and was wondering if you also do any special orders. I need to get a JAMMA harness for a Sigma AV3000 which uses a 18/36 pin connector. I know that Seimitsu does at least carry the fingerboards, but do you know if they offer a full harness? Either way, can you get the parts I need?

Thanks,

-brumma

*EDIT - I just re-checked the catalogs, and apparently both Sanwa and Seimitsu offer the fingerboards.

Dub
Great man, happy for you.

kyored
You can order when you want, we basiclly order parts every week now or when we get 20+ orders…

Grimspoon
Hmm…I will look into this for you.

brumma
Do you know the productnumber for the full harness?

Also, sorry for the wait, we have not recieved parts yet but will most likely get it Monday (or tomorrow). Maybe it has to do with +40 orders…
But have no fear, I am not going anywhere :).

Well, that’s just it–I’m not sure what the harnesses they have listed are for. If you look on page 21 (22 in the PDF) of the Seimitsu catalog you have posted on your website, item #NN-37 looks like it *might *work. But I’m really not sure. All of the harnesses are on that page though, if that helps.

The 18/36 fingerboard is part #CN-36 though, so at least I could pick up a couple of those if none of their harnesses are appropriate. Sanwa’s fingerboard seems to part #CB-36 on page 37 of the catalog (page 36 in the PDF). Either brand would do fine in this case. I’d also need some standard 56-pin JAMMA connectors and a couple of key inserts.

I hope that’s not too confusing. :looney: Let me know what you think.

Heya Per:

Thanks for shipping those 2 OBSM-30s to me.

When do you think they shall arrive?

Btw - did you get my e-mail concerning the LS-33?

Take care, peace out, and many thanks again!

brumma
I will look into this.

jabhadouken
It is possible to just screw off the JLF-TP-8YT and replace it with the LS-33, no extra parts needed :). BUT the shaft is rather short so maybe a LS-55(-01) is better for you.
I hope they will arrive beguinning off next week.

(This is Mr. Armstrong)

Ack, I just realized I placed an order last year and completely forgot about it. I looked through the thread but I didn’t happen to catch what happened to the last order you had with your last contact? Did it simply get refunded? I ordered the beatmania/IIDX buttons (OBSA45UK I think) back in October.

I dunno how I completely forgot about all of this. D:

CptMath
This must be true, all parts back in October did not ship due to my old contact :/. You have PM. Sorry I missed you and I hope to make it up to you.

Per:

Many thanks again!

The whole reason I got the fool thing was the shorter shaft.

No throw.

CptMath:

3x OBSA-45UK-K/W-LEDR (Smoke with red LED)
4x OBSA-45UK-W-LEDR (White with red LED)
2xOBSA-45UK-K (White)
2xLED-R-12V (2 x Red LED)
10xW-14-161 (bulbs)
1xK-OBSA

It is this, I do not know how this got away from my eyes :/, but I will order it again for you, believe NOTHING else :). Also, EMS offcourse. But please send your adress to my email: order@akihabarashop as I can not find it :/. This is due to my computercrash last year (I switched to Mac now, much nicer). Sorry for the trouble.

jabhadouken
Yeah, you are more than welcome :).

Sent  That’s definitely the list, too

Thanks so much. No worries about the delay, I had forgotten myself.

Per:

I am taking it that you mean for me to unscrew the stick proper, the big bottom screw, correct?

I tried that, but with the preinstalled shaft cover, the stick turns perpetually when I try to hold it by [the shaft]. The ball-top just unscrews itself if I hold it that way.

(… and I’ve enough sense NOT to hold the threads in clamps.)

Then I took the whole thing apart - I even unscrewed and took the 4 restrictors off, despite not seeing how this could avail me.

So, I am once again asking your advice, lol.

… and wishing it had a 5 prong.

jabhadouken
You unscrew the 4 screws that is holding the metal plate, not the screw in the middle ^_^.

Per:

K, k, got that done…

Now how do I attach the LS-33 to the stick’s motherboard?

'cause it doesn’t have a 5-prong attachment upon its [circuit board] plate (per the connection of the JLF-TP-8Y).

It has 4 sets of 2 metal tabs (quick connects?) each coming off of one of the 4 restrictor pieces.

I figure that I need something to connect to these, maybe?

Hi this is my first time ordering from you

i want to get a Sanwa JLF-TP-8Y and 6 Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons and a Seimitsu H5-PIN

Per:

… meh.

FINALLY dug up some pics of a Seimitsu stick onboard, underside.

I guess the wires need be soldered onto the LS-33…

… I’m right, neh?

Sigh.

Time to take a crash course in soldering (A.K.A. Google that bee-yatch!).

Gotta figure if the-ever-helpful-and-informative-net has detailed blueprints for somewhat less creation-oriented endeavors (echoes of dripping sarcasm), then I ought to be able to find a how-to guide for soldering this puppy up.

… either that or bit the bullet and get a LS-55-01/02, kissing my LS-33’s 2 mm. “stuntage” goodbye :annoy: .

Not necessarily. A solderless job is perfectly possible: what you need is a harness with quick disconnects on one end and a 5-pin header on the other so it can fit in between the joystick (HRAP?) stock harness and the LS-33. I could make you one as I have a mating header for the 5-pin connector. Let me know if you want it.

Thanks, Per. I also wanted to know when the deadline is for making the next order–do you have a planned date for sending it in (I just want to make sure I get my order to you in time)?

Thanks,

-brumma
