You have to convert the 6-pin from TE to a 5-pin to go on PS360+ for LED.
The 5-pin comes from the Button Distribution Strip of TE.
Of course though, you need spare ones.

Mad Catz SFIV FightStick have the 5-pin.
Mad Cats SFIV FightStick TE and non-TE “S” have the 5-pin.

Likely it was a mass email. I’ve sent others and got no response for those. No price for shipping yet - just a request to choose whether to have products shipped without cables because of a delay with those, or to wait for the entire package. I sent my response and awaiting his.

So I got a PS360+ in a raffle this weekend at ufgt8 and to be honest I’m not sure where to start with thing. The week before I left I was trying to sell my ps3 TE to help finance buying an eightarc to have a dual mod. Now i have a ps3 TE and a PS360+ so I figure I might as well just do it myself… but I’m worried since I can’t find a guide or anything. I’m OK at modding, like i can crimp a cable here and there and solder if a gun is put to my head. I saw the small tutorial jdm714 posted in January, is that all there is to it? Just hook all the cables up to the screw connectors and buy a usb B cable to stick in there? Anyone have a link to a guide or video? (I’ve been hunting around tech talk and youtube where I can)

Any tips are appreciated, I’m still not sure if I’m in over my head and should just sell all the parts and buy a pre-made dual mod

Yes, that is all you do.

Cut the two gray ribbons going to the Turbo Panel.
Strip each individual wire and insert into PS360+ Screw Terminal.

Cut the Joystick Harness going to Turbo Panel.
Strip each individual wire and insert into PS360+ Screw Terminal.

Desolder the TE USB cable from Turbo Panel.
Solder to the PS360+ points.

Or buy USB B/USB A cable.
Or buy custom RJ45 USB cable.

cool it works! pretty easy actually… if it helps anyone, the PCB on my madcatz sf4 round 2 TE had me swapping a few of the wires, i included a pic below

the order from left to right from the angle in the picture (with the holes from the screw terminals facing you)
VCC - D - U - L - R - GRD - GRD - Home - SEL/BACK - START - 1P - 2P - 3P - 4P - GRD - 1K - 2K - 3K - 4K - GRD

the first time i used the picture in the xbox pcb picture to figure out where all the wires went when i stripped them, but for the ps3 pcb its a bit different
there are 2 cables, one with 5 wires and one with 6,
the cable with 5 goes START - SEL - 1P -2P - 3P from left to right with the red marked wire to the left (START)
the cable with 6 goes 4P - 1K - 2K - 3K - 4K - GRD from left to right with the red marked wire to the left (4P)

SO pay attention to the slots on the pcb360+ if you are using the stock ps3 pcb, you have to swap the order for the SEL and START and skip the ground in the middle of punches and kicks… hopefully this doesn’t confused people further and you can see it kind of below

If you are cool with pressing Select + Start = Home, then just leave be.
If you absolutely must have dedicated Home Button, then need to drill new hole, or solder to Turbo Panel.

im cool with SEL + START = Home personally, I’m just glad it was that easy and that it works, thank you for all the help!

(also it appears as if mine was already updated firmware wise, i tested in umvc3 and there was a delay on the Home activation so i could reset the training screen fine)

Akihabarashop seems to be the only store that wants to carry solid color PS-14G. You are my super number one friend.

I love those flat buttons so classic so much 8-)er than the PS-14GN (Sanwa want-be’s) AKI is awsome but it would be nice if some state side shops carried them

what email? i havent received any :S

I’ve trolled around every web shop I could find and couldn’t find a single other store offering them. Other places have the black/color combo but not solid. Not that I’ve ever had a bad experience with Aki Shop. I just feel like there would be more demand if others were familiar with them.

Aki is the only one for now. FA says they’ll have it in by July. As for paradise, they never responded to me in their thread. AKI all the way!

I agree totally, Most people do not get to see them first hand unless they own a Hrap EX-SE. I think people believe they are the same as the PS-14GN but just snap-in and there are most definitely not unfortunately the PS-14GN are more abundant so it skews peoples views of these lovely’s

The only issues with the 14-G’s are they show scratches easier at least the black ones do but that may be just the black ones my red and black aren’t too bad as far as I can remember

you just have to look a picture of both to see that the PS-14-Gs are more flat, anyway I think i’ll give AKiba a shot since I need these to build my seimitsu stick for my Shmup action.

Just got my Shipping Invoice sent to my email on June 1st for my PS360+ Pre-Order
Paid for shipping and am currently waiting for a response.

Shipping is listed as DHL Airmail with Tracking. So i expect the next thing I should be getting is a tracking number in hopefully the next few days.

My custom stick has been 95% finished since August last year so I’m definitely glad I’ll see it in action soon enough.

Finally upgraded P2 to PS-14-G courtesy of Akihabarashop. It’s been irking me for a while that P1 was Seimitsu and PS2 was Sanwa. Also swapped the balltop and the Start buttons for PS-14-D.

Ordered 5/20 arrived 6/4 via air mail. Didn’t get a shipping notification or pictures. I’m sure someone is busy with a certain PCB.

Can you spot the button that made me nervous? There’s a hair worth of spacing between them.

so have any other retailers picked up the ps360+ for us distribution?

Focus Attack will carry it.

AKi, are you still taking payments for the PS360+? I pre-ordered but I am registered with an Email that I never use so I never saw your preorder mail until a few days ago, I need to make sure first, I don’t want to pay money exchange fees for nothing.
