Earthquake/Tsunami/whatever I still believe if something is going wrong and the communication medium is available the business has a responsibility to notify the customer of unforeseen delays. I placed an order days before the tragedy in Japan and I had all the sympathy in the world for them, I would have taken a total refund and just waited but it was simply nerve racking not knowing what is going on. Fast forward to now, we know Per has access to email/PMs what have you because he has been on here and posted a few times since the disaster.

I have two successful orders from Per and I believe he is doing his best but email communication/PMs could be much quicker in turnaround then they are right now. It is asinine for anyone to claim someone is being “spoiled” when they simply want to know a status on their order they already paid for.

Just my two cents.

Wow! Didn’t know being vocal about not getting my order in a timely fashion or having my questions answered regarding my order would result in a message board attack on my character. I have an arcade cabinet project I’m looking to finish and I think I have been more than patient and understanding. I paid $40 including shipping for a part that I could have had by now for $25 from a US based company. The reason I ordered from Akishop had you taken the time to read my previous post was all other sources were sold out at the time. I made the mistake of thinking I would have had it by now I guess. Here we are 2 days later now and my email still has not been responded to. I guess I should post the transaction ID from Paypal in here 56B319808S3069634. Please if anyone associated with Akishop reads this please email me at footmeetsskull@gmail.com regarding my order. Thanks.

For the record I was defending you lol. Good luck with your order, I hope Per can get this sorted out so there are no questions going further regarding his reliability because he gets some of the coolest parts. Also, EMS is a must if you want it anywhere near “soon” for anyone out there wondering from the US.

akihabara order

I just got my order seimitsu parts from Per of Akihabarashop.jp. Complete and nicely packed with sanwa obsf box  Goods arrived about 10 days after being shipped from Japan which I would say quite good since its by air mail not EMS.

As expected local customs double the tax/value and even adds the shipping cost but this is country specific problem not really Akihabarashop’s fault.

Overall I am totally satisfied with Akihabarashop service. I would definitely order again!

Special thanks to Per for accommodating my request.

why didnt you get it from the us based company then?

The thing with arcade parts is that its not something that you can walk in a supermarket and buy anytime you want. Shortages occur, problems happen and the situation in Japan doesnt help either.
So basically what we should do is just be a little patient here and not flood Per with emails and pm’s about when our precious sanWaz are gonna come.

yeah he should have.

oh wait, most things are out of stock.

Yeah, it seems brutally slow.

Order History

04/19/2011 Pending
04/19/2011 Pending
04/25/2011 Processing
05/03/2011 Delivered

Somehow I get the feeling “delivered” simply means “finally left our shop” but to be honest I have no idea. I sent an e-mail back in April asking for clarification on what exactly “pending” and “processing” mean to them and my order, but never got a reply. I don’t mind waiting, but I’m getting pretty confused haha

Hello people,

We are having e-mail problems, e-mails keeps bouncing back for some people. I told the tech guy to fix it but still has problems. If you have not gotten a reply then I am very sorry for this.

There has been a national holiday in Japan, that is why it has taken so long with everything. More orders will go out on the weekend.

I have tried to answer more e-mails now, if you did not get any answer before please check now.

Delivered should mean delivered to you. I wonder if Nova Scotia is just a vacuum of mail packages. Finkle was sending me a case back in april and it took a whole TWO weeks to go from Bridgewater to Toronto, and it was an expedited parcel…

If anyone is having their packages delayed, it may be because of customs officials impounding/investigating it for tax purposes.

LOL I just remembered that it was Golden Week in Japan

That’s what I figured, but even if it arrived at the depot that day I should have it by now. NS may very well be a hellish vacuum though. I’ve never had good luck with mail.

Also yeah, customs sucks.

Interesting, my figure dealer is in Halifax, items that come from his shop takes 4 days max after being processed…then again, he uses the awesome $7.50 flat rate shipping and I pick up figures 4 and over for each order…

TRNG,
I am really excited with PS360+. I will get one once you release it - looking forward to a custom stick project. Hope the wait will end soon

???

Per, any word on release date/info for PS360+?

I’ve got friends asking constantly about when they can order

Gimme that PS360+ info and the info on the new arcade stick thing !

Im checking everyday but no news! I need to know what is PS360+ !!!

Hello,

I just wanted to check on the status of my order.

Paypal Order ID #2E580932BF0802536

I also sent the Aki shop an e-mail about this a couple days ago.

Thanks.

Steven R.

Just an update on my order. I got an e-mail back from them and apparently “Delivered” does actually mean “in transit” in case anyone was wondering.
