Oohh, my stick comes with the 5-pin wire harness? Seimitsu is really the better deal heh.
Well, I ordered from the real neo geo, and he was very helpful and responded to my emails very quickly, so he gets two thumbs up for customer service. So, I will respond when I get my parts, but so far, good job!
Hey Per, I did really get my stuff, I don’t have a camera so I can’t send you a pic. It had the Japanese newspaper in it and all my parts. I put it all on my stick and it works really well and looks really really cool. The only problem I had, (which was entirely my fault) was the wire that connects from the PCB to the quick disconnect on my low kick button tore off at the top. So i just taped the tiny metal wire onto the metal piece of the quick disconnect and It works fine. I might have a friend solder it on later. Is there any easy way you know of how to fix this? I know I kinda explained it weird but if there’s no good way to fix it, it’s okay because it still works fine.
Thanks again!
I also just ordered my parts, i’m planning to build 3 sticks ,2 sanwa’s and 1 seimitsu, so far the customer service has been topnotch. Now the long waiting begins 'till the moment i get the parts. By the way i’m Mr.Sunter.

OK, I trust you. I only crimp my QDs on with a professional tool so I don`t have that ploblem but you could solder I guess.

Nice package you buying :). Hope you will enjoy it.
Shekeib, from what you described, it sounds like the QD part broke off the wire due to extreme bending so now you’re stuck with wire from the PCB and a crimped QD that already has some pieces of wire inside.
You could solder it to the QD or you can just get yourself a .110 QD and restrip the wire and crimp the new QD onto it, but getting just one .110 QD would be a pain if you don’t already have some. The only electronics chain that I know of that has them was Advanced Auto Parts. They sell a few of the gold .110 QD at a ridiculous price of like $10 or something. What you could also do is just buy some .187 QDs from any electronics store like RadioShack and use that. It should fit tightly enough and for extra measures just use some needle nosed pliers to squeeze them a bit onto the button’s microswitch. Hope that helps.

Hey Per, quick question. I haven’t worked with the Sanwa JLF-TP-8S before. My real question is, is the designed more for bottom mounting? My second question is what the distance is from the top of the plate to the bottom (not the thickness of the material)? Thanks!
~Paik
I have some of those Sanwa S-plates at home. I will measure it for you and draw it so you understand later today.
It can be used for bottom-mounting, yes.
Paik: Thanks for the info, I’ll check into it
Well all my stuff looks great. Can’t wait for it to ship.
All packages are now shipped but I get the trackinginfo tomorrow so check out the statuspage then.

The one that says “20” should be 19,5.
So, April 2nd is when the parts for the current six people will arrive? Or is this when the orders will be shipped out to customer?
Thanks as always, Per! I might try to use an S-mounting plate in the future. I think it would be interesting to work with. Also, I gave you big shout outs in my stick building journal. I can’t thank you enough for all your help!

Thanks Per,
Yeah I read the inventory section but was still a little unsure. I didn’t want to email you, I’m pretty sure your inbox is crammed as it is.
I have yet to recieve my parts buy I still say your probrably the best japanese arcade part store on the web (So much selection, prompt emails). Keep up the good work! I’ll spread the word.
BTW does Seimitsu sell mounting plates seperataly (like if I want to exchange the s plate for a flat plate)? If so, I would love to see this in store.
Sorry bout that Per…and thanks
