Akatsuki Blitzkampf: The Dream Is Dead

pickin this game up… known about it fora while but its about time

Is there an english patch or translation for the config ? I cant seem to start the game cos i’m totally lost at the config page.

http://akatsuki.mizuumi.net/stuff/config_en.exe (Don’t forget to set its compatibility to Windows 2000)

Link is there. Everything is on the wiki.

suprisingly the netplay is reaaly good for this game, no desyncs

For better or worse, I convinced Jason “DreamTR” Wilson to buy Ausf Achse for his arcade in Nashville. Thankfully it wasn’t that expensive, but if anyone is in the area they should drop by!

lollllllllllllllllll

My god this game can be addicting…

Noticed you’re from Jersey. How hard is it for you to get out to NYC exactly? The reason I ask is cus there’s actually a Blitz event going down this Saturday (6/20). If the commute isn’t burdensome you should try to make it out to this. It will probably be the biggest (and possibly only) ABK event on the EC for a long time. With BB and MBAA around the corner I’m not too sure how long the game will hold interest to others so I’m trying to see people get into Blitz before they jump ship.

To those who already decided to show up for BBGX, I wish you all a safe trip out here…Getting back will be another issue though cus foolz gonna be DONE lol.

Anyway, 2 more days. Keep fasting.

what??

You know, what’s his face.

lol

Murakumo

I wish I could go to BBGX

sorry sorry i didnt make it but i need a lot more practice for this game and theres not much comp around here or in the channel

I thought the channel was were people went to get online comp?

Yeah it’s just that there aren’t many people playing right now, they are busy doing other things. There’s still some people in the channel that play regularly, but it’s not like a ton of people.

Here some more video for you guys.

Please post matches whenever you get the chance. There’s literally one ABKAA US match up on the nets and it’s vs CPU lol. AA looks so damn beautiful.

…oops.

Wow, these matches are pretty beast. #3 is my personal fav; so much crazy movement going on. You guys seem to have a grasp on how to control space, what oki to use and how to incorporate mind games. It’s obvious that you both have prior knowledge/exp with other traditional fighters (which is what some of the new-to-the-scene abk players are lacking). I’d say the only thing you both need to improve on is damage optimization on bnbs/reflectors. This can easily be remedied by watching the 1131group vids and messing around on training a bit more (e.g. the aka player was using 6c>ja>jb>j214C when ja>jb>land>214c gets you a bit more damage with almost the same effort. There are a few more examples though). Looking forward to seeing more matches and I’d like to request 2/3 rnd matches if that’s not too much trouble . Keep blitzin’.

AA EDIT:
In Ausf Achse news…

GameAce (?) ???
2v2 Event

Part 1
Part 2

Part 3

Final

Features:

Crazy Nun Duo: really solid team of anonyms. Nothing crazy (despite the name I gave the team lol), just smart play all around.

Perfecti/Kanae: This perfecti later in the tourney starts to get very scary. The Kanae player was a good complement to the team as well. A couple of times in his matches I was like “Wtf, did Rithli go out to Japan and not tell me!?” lol.
**
WEI/MARILYN:** OMG OMG OMGGGG!! Best team everrrrrr! I fapped so much watching this team in action. The Mari was far from disappointing and the Wei was the one and only Yuusuke-hakase (labcoat wei). I got really excited watching my two fav chars rip shit up.

The were also a few akas, muras, adler’s and one extra (non-sucky) mari that all played extremely well. Japan is finally starting to raise the bar among their community.

Player/Team names are mentioned in the credits at the end so be sure to take notes for future stalking- I mean, viewing.

I’ll see what we can can do. But we just prefer 3/5 since it employed in most professional tournaments. Also because we feel its appropriate to have chances to win since its use in most sports like baseball.( though my least favorite sports)

The concept of three is just very good in many philosophy. It deters as well enforces a lot of strategy. Due to length of battles, the simple mindset of conserving gauge for kill combo becomes difficult. If matches were 2/3 they player would only need to build gauge the first round and than implement the kill combo the nest round. We personally feel this set up is too rewarding. And most combo in Blitzkampf with desperation will do 60% or higher, they may not be kill combos but still effective

Its similar to how hokuto no ken fist of the northstar was in the scene. Because of Instant kills can be done out of combos and in most matches one of the player would already be in instant kill by the second round. This allow a lot of Shallow game play to be form In my opinion, which the Hokuto scene also felt the same. But by simply making the the matches last longer cure this problem and made come back much more plausible.

sorry for the long post

I don’t think caster works for windows 7, doesn’t seem like theres any fix to it either. (or maybe it just doesn’t work on 64 bit)

Has anyone knows what is the meaning of this?

I was reading Fighters Front Line and they confirm that Subtle Style and Ko-Hatsu will make a special conference called “Daiyonji Denkou Taisen Der Glanz” on August. Only a tourney or something new? because the flyer is… well… “mysterious”, because i never saw those chars on the game.

Hope that is a new Akatsuki upgrade… and an upgrade that is coming to a console, plz.
