Eh, I started playing as Akatsuki because Zar told me he was top tier. :B
I’ve also been messing around with Fritz and Marilyn because they’re both also stupid easy (like really stupid easy). When I can’t find a char I like I usually just pick one of the top tier chars and fuck around, heh.
On a side note, Sugoroku mode is exactly like Gunstar Hero’s for the Genesis. Really really good oldschool game, highly recommend it. Gogo Helheim Sugoroku.
How do you get Sugoroku mode?
Keep beating the game with other characters
Yeah I forget what unlocks it, just beat the game with everyone. After it’s unlocked you have to beat normal Sugoroku to unlock Hard-Sugoroku. And then you have to beat Hard-Sugoroku to unlock Valhall-Sugoroku and Helheim-Sogoroku.
Fortunately, beating Hard-Sugoroku unlocks both the Valhall and Helheim Sugoroku modes so it’s the last thing you’ll have to “do” to unlock everything.
Beating Valhall and Helheim Sugoroku modes don’t unlock anything (I checked). Beating the Helheim-Sugoroku mode awards you with engrish text: “You are the Sugoroku Masterlered”. Also earning all the Sugoroku collection stages unlocks nothing… well… technically it “unlocks” the [?] Sugoroku bonus stages making them accessible in the Sugoroku collection menu (which is basically the same as unlocking nothing).
Anyway, the unlockable menus are:
- Time Attack
- Survival
- Sugoroku (which is Gunstar Hero mode)
- HelHeim (which is arcade mode in maximum difficulty)
- Theater
- Music
- SS Matching Web (?)
Though, the only characters you get to unlock are Adler, BlitzTank, and Murakumo. Which are unlocked just beating the game a few times.
Im starting to think that Akatsuki Blitzkampf its so good that some company will saw the game as a good choice for a commercial real Arcade title, like Ecole do it with Melty Blood.
The only problem is that AkatsukiBK doesnt have a too strong name behind like Melty Blood with Tsukihime, but you never know…
They could do a console port, yeah. This game would be a popular console title I think. But, I think it needs a larger cast and some rebalancing to get an arcade release though.

and 12 chars is already a good cast, imo.

By what do you mean an “.iso” format? You can’t just open an .iso. If you dl’ed it yourself, you’ll have to go through some steps so you can actually install the program itself. I won’t go through them though, because I don’t want to get banned.
yeah. i think i got it now. the game needs more character though. the graphics and all are stunningly amazing.

Just overwrite the files in your AkatsukiBK folder, it got a new character, better Online support and color edit, so it worth.
