Ok. I’m using a 360 pad because I don’t have a converter for my stick… The game will only acknowledge the anolog stick and not the dpad. I also have the same problem with Bigbang beat. Is there anyway to fix this?

Yep. I guess the 360 Dpad just doesn’t work on these games.

I had this problem in every doujin game I played with my 360 controller. Why it seems to be like this for japanese games I have no clue.

But it isn’t a problem isn’t anything you did. It is the fact that those games just don’t work as right with 360 pads.

Use a program called Xpadder. You can map your D-Pad to buttons on your keyboard, like uparrow/downarrow/etc.

you can actually get fucked up for techrolling, its really hard to block certain things during it and you are automatically at disadvantage ( remember that Reflector has startup frames ), if you take the normal fall sometimes you can see okizeme setups

Sai off of a teched throw can do 236B to get right on top of you on the frame you recover and go for another throw
Fritz can 236B teleport behind you on the frame you recover and get an almost-free throw ( Akatsuki can DP but he has to buffer it the reverse way, Soldat has to flash kick )
Kanae can whiff her 6C ( Chun back and fierce ) into A ver. command grab
Wei can do crossup B and throw if its blocked or go into shoulder charge combo

i think different characters might recover at different speeds but i have no way of testing it =(
techrolling when knocked down into the corner is also a no-no, you can get crossed up really bad

Anyways thats some useful information. I didn’t know all that, especially techrolling on wall = cross up.
