Wait, so can I put it after my name even though I suck? Just cuz I’m from SRK doesn’t mean you’re gonna be challened when you play me. =p Either way my name is the same on there, CrouchingTiger.
And I’m not being modest. I just plain suck. I’m trying to make the transition from MvC2, and lemme tell ya, it aint easy. Sounds like me and Rob2_0 need to play and find out who’s the worst.
And I’ve played maybe hmm… 10 people on Kaillera? (Just got it set up last week). Only about half were SRKers I’d say. I played this guy named GOT! on West Wonderland who owned me up hardcore, so naturally I ask, “are you from SRK?” And he responds with, “What’s that? I guess not lol.” He was really nice though in helping me get started on Kaillera. I’d like to play him some more but I’m sure my Dudley puts him to sleep. =\
I think some of the others were saying not to put the tag (or the SRK/Name idea) in unless you’ve established with yourself you’re not going to get owned every other match. You’re just starting out, so if you’re as bad as you say you are (not to be mean), maybe you should hold off on the tag for now.
A year from now, I thought I was awesome, and I had just started out. Compare then to now, and there’s an increase of OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND skills for me (sorry :P). I’m usually on DaRoms, R1, BotB and Anti3D. I’m on the east coast, so I haven’t really tried West Wonderland… I wonder how high my ping would be in there… Anyway, just keep playing. If I see your name in a room (I’m The Fresh Saiyan), I’ll give you a shout.
I’mma probably try this out for a bit. I’m not really cool with tags, but I’ll give this a shot.
personally, i think its not about the skill level more the courtesy the player will show knowing he will get flamed by the opponent and his peers if he drops and starts pulling shit like post match taunts.[on the forum]
that it really.
