Hello Folks, I changed the first page to let folks know whats going on with the Dojo. We are definitely changing thursdays over to saturday like BowFlex Stated.
First Sat Bi-Weekly Gig is: Sat 09/18/10 (this sat) I know last second, im horrible and really trying to get better. Hope you all can bare with me. It will be 10 dollar entree and start at 2pm!!! (im NOT KIDDING about this) Im giving a 30 minute grace period for entrees, after that its being run. Regardless of how many players. People better call and sign up!
I will also be re-setting the Challenge Bracket. There are a lot of new faces now and they never really got to appreciate the challenge set up. So with the results of this saturdays tourney, that will determine the Challenge Bracket Placings, after that people are free to challenge. I will talk with Tanaka to see if we can still integrate the player card system, but if not, we will keep it to what has been working. This time I promise not to change placings the MINUTE after tourney lol.
I want to have saturday events early because a few people have late night events or they have other things to do in the evening. By running the event early, we wont step on any toes and leave the rest of the day free to do stuff.
Greg (Toe-Fu Dojo Master) always has open practice night at his Dojo on Saturday in the evening. This is a new spot for the NW and people in North Seattle area should definitely support it! Not to many places up there for people to get together. I believe just Tanakas, the bunker and Carlos spot sometimes. So, Tourney by day, dojo practice by night!!!

ps - Yes, bi weekly for 10 bucks is the same is every week paying 5 bucks, u are not spending any extra money here =P Pot is just bigger for the players. Also, I really want to come up with a system that can pay out top 8! Unfortunately, it may call to charge higher entree fee. But isnt that worth it if top 8 get paid? Lets discuss!!!
