Yes everyone. Dojo is open everyday till this next tuesday from 10am to whenever. People are welcome to come practice. I will be intergrating an interesting practice reimign to help everyone train for evo.
If you have the time, come through,bring your A game! No tourneys until a week after Evo. Like Frank said, we are putting all our focus into preparing the garage so we can better facilitate people. Also, so all you sloppy people that dont know how to clean up after yourself, can be contained in the garage =P hehe

Also, I know Bowflex suggested a donation tourney to help with electric bill ($310).
I will hold off on that and will just have a donation jar at the front door. If you feel our pain with the electric bill…donate a dollar or two…or 5 =P whatever people can afford, i know the economy is bad. Please seattle…i know how you all think…and this is not a ruse just to get money from you. I am opening my house all day and all night for people to have a place to play and level up. I do not mind doing this, it will help out even more if we all help each other.
Maybe down the road when the garage is fixed and we really have the Dojo up and fully operational…we can prob do a mini side donation tourney. Like a cvs2 tourney or Battle Fantasia. I take all ideas, but please do not take this request the wrong way and feel that the Dojo is going to be always asking for money just to come out here.

ps - I HIGHLY apologize for dropping the ball lately on posting results 3 weeks later. I know u guys want your bragging rights by showing who got top. I will be more on top of my game these days, i promise you all. I am really going to be on point with the AfroDOjo. Again, my apologies.

Yo sup Seattle. I’m actually in town right now but I’m lookin to get some practice in tomorrow before Evo next week too. Seein if its cool to drop by if I get spare time to. I’ve been around the SF scene for a while so few can vouch for me. To bowflexmike, I’m a friend of Ramon (from Boise) too so he can vouch that I’m not nasty.

I think that donations and the donation tournament are really good ideas. Especially when we are talking about something like the electric bill which is something we all use when we come to play at the Dojo. Y’all deal with a lot of shit living at the Dojo and everyone else gets to benefit from it by always having a place to go to play good players.
Also, when the Dojo first opened someone made of list of stuff you needed for the house (TV stands, carpet etc.). I think you should keep that list updated. I bet there are a lot of people out there that could help out in different ways if they just knew what you needed.

I like this and I need more concentrated practice so one of these upcoming days I’m comin’ for ya cole! I need to play some sets, hear any critiques, and most of all figure out how to drop my recent bad habits. At least I’ve identified 'em.

Yooo…I’m hella bummed that I couldn’t make it. Ended up getting too late and had to head home. I really wanna go up there to play sometime. Getting sick of random inputs on online PS3. Maybe after Evo sometime…
