Hey Ramen, mirror matches are as crazy as El Fuerte vs Vega (been doing those with GermanLuger); I’d love to do some. And where is the STL thread Kaal? Is it where the announcements for the tournament were originally? Well Dark Killer 67 (XBL) and Chilenohellcat14 is my AIM if anyone wants to chat. I need to practice against any Balrogs; I need to learn ground game due to headbutt anti-Fuerte (I wish I could redo that match; I’ve redone it in my head 10000 times and know where I messed up).
Had an amazing time at the tourney, great to see a lot of different playstyles and people. Obviously I still have a ways to go, but that’s what this shit is all about. Hope to be able to return with the rest of the Springfield, MO crew for future events!:rock:

Rex’s balrog is a great rog to fight against, if you need that match-up.

@ Horokeu (youngest Fuerte ever) I’m up for some games to help you on your rog match-up. Mine’s comparable to Rex’s since he plays like everyone and I only play Balrog. I’ve heard jump back + fp owns feurte for free but we’ll have to see =P I’ll add you and any time you see me on send a game request because it’s always better to play locals than randoms in ranked.
Some stuff came up for me so I couldn’t be there for more than a few casuals but I’ll definitely be there next month and at Rex’s hookups if he ever gives more than 6 hours notice!:annoy:

@NKI - I know dude! We are going to install a PA system at Ogre’s next week and we are looking into getting a projector to keep shit flowing, by the time the we have our next big one (we are looking at running it in November).

Reika man, your Balrog taught me a lot. Those random matches were fun too. I played Kile a bit too, pretty good Ken. But mindfuck Fuerte got him and a snowball effect occurred. I even made him ragequit…haaha JK. Hopefully me him and Jeff can do some in person matches for no lag. I focused a hell of a lot more on him though, I think that would really help against Rog.
Haha Jeff, I know Balrog inside and out now. I can stop pretty much anything you come at me with. And if you turtle, so shall I. I’ll run the clock pro style. I’m going to start spending lots of time in practice for loop. Also I’ll be getting a stick in a few weeks; that will make things A LOT easier.

Hey, thanks alot for having the event! Me and my cousin were both first timers and had a blast. I learned alot. There was WAY more people that I expected and every match I had was exciting. I tied for 7th by barely beating my cousin, though I hope to make it higher up next time. (I was Rain, the Fei Long)
There are alot of people I still would like to have a match with, the dynamite kid Fuerte still owes me a match, Kurasa’s Balrog, Pauls Akuma, the Abel who beat Rexor, and a rematch with Rex and the Gen who beat me as well. I think sparring you guys would bring my game to the next level.
Hey is this Vince, the Fei long player I played during friendlies? Then your cousin was the Gouken player I believe. I’ll add you to my FL; I’m usually on a lot (need LOTS of practice) so we’ll get plenty of opportunities.
