You’re a saint dude. I picked up Yun a few days ago and your guide + reference log + the safe jump thread have helped out tremendously.
Random bits of info I’ve picked up along the way that may be of use to some.

f throw, lp shoulder, dash, Palm gives a really meaty palm. Blows up wake up tech’s, throws and is super good in certain matchups (gouken and makoto being ones off the top of my head). Mix up with fake palm command grab to be an ultra ass.

f throw, jump forward, lp shoulder,c.mp xx ex palm. Meaty c.mp to ex palm. This is super experimental atm but this creates an interesting pressure string. Assuming they block the c.mp, they can’t press a normal or they get raw ex palm which hurts. Ex palm has lower body invincibility so crouch techs or cmks get hit (favourite hobby of mine atm is to walk up ex palm ryus in cmk zone.). Mix up with c.mp Kara ex command grab.

- here’s another way of timing xup dive kicks after up kicks (quick rise). Wait for the opponent to hit the floor (I use the sound of them hitting the ground or the dust animation) jump forward and lk dk. Avoids reversal uppercut if done correctly. I use TC 5 to hit confirm since you can just mk up kicks right back into the xup dk or lp shoulder for a true block string. Practice in training to get it down. Time slightly later to hit in front. Time really early (hold up) dk into c.lk combo for a fake high into a crossup low. I almost exclusively use this to time my xups since they’re easy to get consistent with practice.
-ultra, shk jump normal. 4 frame safe jump.
- cl.mk, jump cancel dive kick reset in the corner. When they’re falling, s.mp. really glitchy that’s hard as hell to block. Hard to explain but it pushes yuns hit box behind the opponent (character specific, try on ryu). You can never actually cross up but the later you do it the more messed up it gets. Try it out. I use it after palm, cl.mk in the corner.

how are you timing your dive kicks when they dont quick rise?
does anyone know a good secondary character for yun. one that covers all his bad matchups?
