I do ball combos into FADC vs. characters I can unblockable sometime to fish for the backthrow.
Ok guys I’ve been testing stuff. If you do a forward throw -> dash ->hop-> J.MK crossup, then overhead, it seems to lead to the appropriate spacing to ultra.
I seem to have trouble with crouching opponents ironic, lol.
Yeah you have to be closer to cancel hp and lp ball. I used to be able to do j.hk st.mk cr.mk xx hp.ball xx super in Super against a crouching Ryu but I haven’t been able to land it yet in AE.

I safejumped guile, he did an autocorrected sonic hurricane and I teleported to his other side. Complete bug looking incident. So surprised I didn’t even think to taunt. Doh.
yeah when he does sh, he steps forward, it makes things act weird.
I think cr.hp got a hitbox buff. It seems easier to AA with.
cr.hp did seem a bit different when I faced an AE Blanka at the arcade. I couldn’t figure out exactly what was different but the dude kept spamming it and I remember it being a bit harder to get past.
think it is definitely a hitbox nerf on hp ball; when I do mp/lp ball they seem to hit ryu’s hitbox from a different point. Also the reelback distance seems off from super.

I think far st.hp is -5/0 or -1(chun super does not punish on hit)
think far. hk is -10/-5
think far mk is -7/-4
If the last two were changed from super for whatever reason, the current frame data is correct.

been palying with Blanks a bit the last 2 days. the hori ball nerfs are suprigisly not bad. Guess I dont hard ball that much
Has EX up ball on reversal been nerfed ? Its awlays been a real handy tool but I’m getting hit out of it way more than before
also hating the ex rainbow nerf . he feels way less mobile with it

Since AE you can’t FA an EX rainbow ball anymore?I tried it a few times and it never worked.

maybe you tryed to FA a reversial EX rainbow (after wakeup)! I think all reversial special moves in this game can break FA!
you can do this since vanilla
reversal projectiles and two part special moves(ie akuma demon flip) will not break armor.

With Blanka’s overhead becoming +4 on hit and being comboable into ultra on a good amount of the cast I think to remain a somewhat viable character players will need to have that and short short short ultra down at a high %.
I’m gonna practice both 100 times a day.

went to hop through honda’s Oicho and I got caught in startup frames. ugh, nerfed Blanka is dumb.
