It doesn’t work as an instant overhead though if that is what they are implying in the IRC…
unless I am playing an old version or something I’m 99% it doesn’t work on a crouching opponent as an instant overhead
Just so we’re 100% clear on Adon’s instant overheads.
neutral j.mk IS an instant overhead after you do it after a j.hk.
neutral j.mk is NOT an instant overhead if you just walk up to your opponent and do it.
neutral j.hk IS an instant overhead if you just walk up to your opponent and do it.
Also just so people know, the instant overhead with neutral J.HK is completely unsafe even on hit, so use sparingly
I have been extensively testing this even before the Alioune video and it doesn’t work on a crouching opponent at all. Deep neutral jumping hk into instant jumping mk works but not if the opponent is crouching

Yeah, they had the tournament with top japanese players using the new characters. I guess it is on the dvd that comes with the jpn LE version. Hopefully the footage makes it way to the net soon.
