guess yun has a wierd hurtbox. his stance has his top half slightly back. The ultra should have hit though, that is very strange!
Hey guys, has anyone found GamerBees AE replay channel? Or any other higher level Adons?
you can find Gamerbee quite far down the list of Adons if you want to ‘follow’ him. Dont know if he actually has a channel however!
He has a youtube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/GamerBeeTW
But he didn’t post videos for a while
Yeh well I meant in the replay channel area in ae. So other high level adons would be…
I’ve recorded all the GamerBee matches from SS so far and will upload later today
nice man! I have not had a chance to look them up, and was asleep when it was going on look forward to it !
This is easier than uploading
From Godsgarden:
Kazunoko (Yun) vs ramunekka (Adon)

Thanks for the videos, but the match with Ramunneka is very ugly, too much random dp, nothing to learn.
The second is better and as we know, when a jaguar kick whiff it’s a disaster most of the time, particularly against Yun and his very very good stand strong combotable with the genei inter alia.
Umm no disrespect but I just watched both of those videos and I think its the other way around. You can learn a lot more from Ramunneka’s match than spread needle 38. I usually give analysis on some match up threads and usually end up with long blocks of text however to spare most who will read this post, let me just point out some key things I saw in both match ups. Hopefully I can keep this short…
Kazunoko (Yun) vs ramunekka (Adon)
Ram worked with 2 ranges; the first a mid-close range to keep mk jk effective and the second being the throw range. He tried to remain as grounded as possible only going up for cross overs, or jump ins. The only other time airborne would be from rj which for the most part was done trying to read the Yun for Dragon or Dive kicks. A few thing to note:
-0:25 he catches dragon kicks to the face dashing when expecting the Yun to backdash
-0:41 tries to throw but eats dragon kicks instead
-1:09 uses lk rj to catch Yun even if he manages to backdash
-Second round, he stays in close but not throw distance (more fk jk spacing) to bait dragon kicks for punishment
-Third round, Yun’s super off a whiffed jk equals death.

Kazunoko (Yun) vs spread needle38 (Adon)
-More airborne fighting. In an attempt to stop dive kicks neutral jump + kick used too often. Really gets punished in the second **and **third round because of it.
-2:10 obviously not ready for the reset here.
Honestly I think there were more mistakes in the latter match as Kaz’s health shows on the matches he won. Again although both lost, Ii think Rumunnekka had the better game plan.

Adon safe jump option select against Rose.
For those who follow the Peaceful Jay stream, you know xWAx SALPACINO won SCO with his Adon. I highlighted most of his matches for your viewing pleasure. His match against a balrog were not finished but when it does, will post.

good vids to watch but couldnt help but feel he threw out waaaay too many random dps. its not like he even had the meter to cancel them. Ken player would have won if he had safe jumped him! ate waaaay too many dps
What I found really interesting in the match versus Oni was that he dashed through Oni’s slash move. I think I am going to work on that dash list very soon. I am still reviewing matches though and its slow since I am at work.
I noticed a LOT of wiffed f+mp overheads after a throw, both forward and backwards. It doesn’t look like he’s going for meaty either.
I assume this is a timing thing but have never noticed this strategy before.
Any comments?
Thanks for the videos but I found this Adon not very interesting to watch, he just spam jaguar kick, random dp, no zoning, almost no combo, it reminds me
Marukomu who is not a reference, too much random things.
I don’t understand his stragegy with the overhead which whiff at wake up, really strange Adon.
The thing about Oni is not very usefull I guess, it’s like dash under tiger shot, wheel kick …
Yeah I tend to agree with Seratna. Anyone can play Adon like that. Really, really didn’t like his use of dp.
On a slightly different subject, where are your replays Seratna? Haven’t seen one in a while. You should post them here on the forum. One of the nicest Adons I’ve seen in a long time.
P.S. Sorry about the last replay I embedded. Should have done some quality control and watched it first…
My replays are in my youtube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/Seratnazero?feature=mhee
I wasn’t verry happy about my recents matchs then no really recent videos and I don’t play often in ranked mode, most of the time when I send a replay, it sucks.
It’s not very my kind to post a thread, I know my weaknesses and what I must improve.
Thanks for your compliment, somebody says my Adon sucks because I don’t have a rushdown gameplay lol
