When I was a kid, I used to think that Batman’s real name was Adam West, not Bruce Wayne, because of the TV show.
Batman’s real name is Adam West.
(I unfortunately expected this to happen sooner rather than later, especially given how shitty this year has otherwise been on both a global and a personal level.)
That said, it’s still extremely shitty to find out about his death via a gods damned crossword application’s clue of all things. Good to know almost of my weekends bottom out on Saturday so easily.
Anyway, may he rest in peace, especially since he took making fun of himself in such stride.

He was a great actor to follow over the years, I legitimately loved his style and not taking his work too seriously. RIP the best dancing Batman.

I’m glad more people remember him for Batman than Family Guy. That shows there’s still people with taste in this world. 
That said, he never gave more than his best. I remember watching the shit out of Batman reruns on syndication when I was a kid. My grandma was chill as hell to clue me in to that kind of awesome shit.
The funny thing was the zaniness of the old TV series made the animated on in the 90s and the movies hard to digest, as the darker tone of them was such a direct contrast to the live action series. But I eventually got over that.
