is there any way you can change this? cause there are differences in both systems and with a pot this big you will having alot of good players that can notice a difference and it will affect the outcome. thanks in advance.
Not sure if I can make it out to this anymore. I’ll be supporting it though for sure.
we are aware of the differences between each system when it comes to lag and that is why we decided to run the tournament this way. We figured and i am sure most people would agree that if you’re good enough at the game you’ll make it to semi-finals regardless of some .02 seconds of lag and make it to the all xbox360 rounds. We expect the tournament to be pretty large so we are trying to get as many systems of each to run the tournament as fast as possible. With that being said if you would like a higher chance of playing on the system you prefer feel free to bring your own console to the tournament for tournament use.
Thank God for dual mod.
if you are aware of lag issues then why not fix it instead of coming up with the whole ‘if you’re good enough at the game you’ll make it to semi-finals regardless of some .02 seconds of lagblah blah blah’. lag affects everything especially characters with 1 frame links. last thing I want to see is some top player playing like a scrub because of this. Youre promoting a big event and top players are coming. dont you want them to have a good experience so theyll come back for the next one?
That statement was just a personal opinion of mine, but to further explain the reasoning for
using both systems i will say that many people love playing on the xbox360 and likewise for the ps3 that is why we are running a majority of the tournament on both systems until the tournament comes to an end.
In the event that a player cannot play on a console they are assigned to AGLA always tries to the best of there power to accommodate the competitor. We never force anyone to play on a system they CANNOT play on unless it is absolutely necessary.

How can you register for both SF4 and HD Remix without paying venue fee twice? The reg system only allows you to select 1 game at a time and it’s always bundled up with a venue fee.
@ ChoiBoy
pay online for SFIV and if you plan to enter a side event pay the day of~.

is this the same for Tekken 6 for top whatever(16,8,4) is played on 360 it should PS3 as some good players use the PS pad.
how far is the venue from Los Angeles?

the rule stated for all ending matches to be played on xbox360 can change. Like i mentioned before we always try to accommodate our competitors and wont force them to play on a system they are not comfortable playing on unless we absolutely have to.
if i had to estimate off the top of my head the HAX facility is no more then 7-8 minutes away from LAX off the 105. im not sure what part of LA you’re coming from
but i cant imagine it to be anymore then 20-25 minutes.

Can’t wait to see everyone!
The party on the 13th will be in Hollywood at uWink. Shit will be awesome!
Make sure you stop by for a chance to win some sticks/prizes.
Also, if you’re going on the 14th, you can watch the Pacquiao/Cotto fight LIVE during the tournament!

eyyy can i enter this tournament wit a x box 360 controller, or will that not be allowed? can someone lemme know please
@sole_seth yes you are allowed to enter the tournament with an xbox 360 controller and we will try our best to have you play all your matches on xbox360’s. But in the event that its impossible for you to play on a xbox360 you will either have to play on a ps3 using a pad or a stick, but that happening is highly unlikely as we will have hopefully plenty of xbox360’s on hand for tournament use.
